Fantastic, relaxed bush pub on the Kariega River near Kenton-on-Sea. Food was great and there was a great holiday vibe. The pub is only open for a month over December and a couple of weeks over Easter.

Rustic pub on the river, sun, sand and water. A great place to stop and have a cold one, when you're tired of skiing.

An absolutely beautiful spot, taking in the nature and beauty of the river and boats moving alongside the the restaurant makes this a very nice spot to get drinks only, if you plan on eating look else where and don’t even bother, you could drive to PE get KFC and drive back to this place and your order would still not be ready yet, the manager is extremely rude telling people to deal with the wait time and doesn’t care at all (2 hours at minimum) and even seeing him throw plates at his employees in the kitchen while clearly drunk, absolutely disappointing and appalling, the value for food is also lacklustre R110 plus for a burger that tastes unpalatable, recommended for drinks only. I recommend they shut down the kitchen if you can call it that and install a vending machine, this would be a better alternative to what they have.

Amazing vibe and usually very packed and popular. Great food, though don't expect to be in a hurry. It is however worth the wait. Stunning view of the river as well.

Chilled out spot to take a break. It’s rustic so don’t expect premium restaurant atmosphere. Lovely laid back bar with a lot of character. Drinks were nice and chilled. Staff were friendly. Views were great and relaxing. Best to go there in an suv. Access available to swim in river.

Great location on the Karige River, great food and friendly service. If wet not recommended to use a standard car, an SUV or similar is more appropriate for access
