I drove all the way from cloetesville to ideasvalley for Vis and chipsWhen I got home the Vis had a really funny smellThe owner of the store told me that iam the only customer ho hade this problemBut they serve that whole Vis to alot off poepleAnd I never hade that problem with the Pakistan

The fish and chips was great, chips not as much and price quite steep.

Food was nice, the wait wasn't long, however the manager/owner seemed quite impatient and I can't understand the extra R2 premium for spices on chips. Does that really affect your bottom line enough to inconvenience your customers? Also note that tartar sauce will cost you an additional R15 as well. Seems a little bit unreasonable, but otherwise the food is well-priced.

The fish was not fresh and the chips were actually old and refried.R90 for a parcel is really high price.Portions were very big.

Today I wanted to get some fish and chips after work. I tried to order, the lady at the counter was very helpful in explaining what they had available as it was loadshedding at the time. However while the lovely lady was explaining the owner or manager I guess started to argue with the employ that was helping me in a very rude and condescending way talking down to her. I myself work in hospitality and this is pathetic and horrifying. This is what is wrong with our industry managers and owners disrespect staff and have no people skills. Will never go to this joke of a shop again and I hope you do the same, lets make the world a better place and spend our money with people who are of better character. Needless to say I took my business else where.

Absolutely the best fish, so fresh.. You wait a little bit but you can't beat the freshness and the product you going to get at the end. The prices are so affordable and the portion sizes are huge.

My friends and I bought a chicken gatsby yesterday; the chicken was old and didn't taste nice. The tomato and onion was soggy, the lettuce tasted rotten and chips was rubberry and hard.
