Floral Sense - flower centre

I DO NOT KNOW WHY FOR PETE'S SAKE THEY WORK WITH THAT LALL SCAM GUY.I had my wedding at the 5th of June 2021...I am a lover of fresh flowers and always been happy with the quality of this flower centre, until I met Lall.NEVER EVER trust this guy!!!For my wedding... My bouquet was supposed to be plain cream white, with 4 big orchids, a King protea and cream white roses. My bouquet arrived a night before my wedding, with very pink roses, 1 small Orchid and a normal protea you can get at woolworths.All my flowers for tables were Pink, where as I had sent him pictures of how I would like my flowers to be and he agreed before payments,when the flowers arrived they were small and all pink with few greens, I had ordered big pots of flowers for my guest tables, with a touch of dusty pink (not very pink) flowers. buttonhole flowers had pink ribbons, my color was CREAM WHITE! my bridesmaids bouquet had pink ribbons too...something I never ordered, the flower on our husband and wife table were supposed to overlap..but what a joke! that moment I paid R11500 and whenever I complained about his lack of communication he would tell me, he is the best flourist in Durban everyone knows Him and how he has dealt with big, well known people. that old man is a scam! he ruined my entire dream wedding... the early morning of my wedding I sent him a message telling him I think you mistaken my order for someone else

I love spoiling myself with flowers support this business as it’s in my neighbourhood but i must say,the old lady assisting on the floor is very rude and has bitter energy. hurts to be giving such a review about a woman would expect motherly love from even as a paying customer. she has been rude several times to my sister and I on separate occasions .i’m always one to overlook bad treatment from old people who should be enjoying their retirement money but this aunty is plain wicked. came here to see if there were reviews complementing her but none.go figure. I will never step foot there again for as long as she’d there

Wide selection, but a bit pricey in my opinion for a wholesale florist. R600 for the bouquet below. Can advise buyers to ensure that pricing is disclosed up front before bouquet assembly is done.

Walked into the warehouse cool, and left feeling anxious.Simply came in to get a feel of what the place had to offer. Within a few seconds of being inside- I was already dismissed by a lady whome I assume was the manager.I stopped and greeted very intentionally trying to enquire about something , but she greeted back whilst walking straight past me...within seconds an old lady appears notifying me she has been asked to come and help me. What's wromg with just letting me know that she was busy and she'd be getting someone to assist?Poor anxious old lady tried to assist me by giving me prices inbetween her other duty of arranging a beautiful bouquet that she was working on.Even though I eventually clearly stated that I was now just browsing the warehouse to get a feel of what they had to offer, you could sense an obligation for her to not leave my side as she trailed right behind me, uncomfortably like she had somewhere else to be.As we walk out, the old lady asks the same manager something, who responds in the same dismissivr tone I received and that sums it all up for me.You can sense the hurry in everyone in the store, that the time for actual customer service almost feels like an inconvenience.Definetly not bringing my business back here.

I usually purchase my bouquets from different retail stores , which last me at least 2-3 weeks after expiration date, nevertheless I purchased a bunch of chrysanthemums from Flower centre at R50 on Tuesday and by Thursday(within the same week) it already started to wilt even though It was in water, upon my arrival at the store I was greated by an Indian male who assured me that these were fresh flowers after I asked. To my dismay I saw a similar bouquet if not bigger for R30 at a street vendor ,i honestly didn't mind paying extra at flower Centre due to factors of rent and utilities etc. my humble appeal to the owner of this establishment lead your staff with a value based leadership strategy and run this organization with values and ethics don't lie to your customers, if you want customer retention be honest, be fair, be competitive not so much in price but in quality. Thank you.

Flower center makes the most beautiful bunches of flowers and they have the most incredible staff too! Such a pleasure to go in there!

Super impressed with the wide variety of freshly cut flowers as well as the decorative displays for functions. Unfortunately not so impressed when it comes to pricing. If you want to attract more customers, your pricing has to be aligned to suit the pockets of the average consumer.
