Centrally located in downtown Cape Town. Clean rooms and lobby. Great extensive full English buffet breakfast in the morning. Three dollar a day car parking. Within walking distance of anything one would want to walk to in city. Police and guards on every street corner at night. Great restaurant in hotel for dinner across the street. Gigi’s in Gorgeous George hotel. I’m a little reluctant to walk around at night alone but many restaurants in the area. Walk to Green Market Square, a couple of blocks away if you are looking for locally made goods and souvenirs. It is great!

I booked in here on a Saturday. Was pleasantly surprised about this little gem in town. Its is 3 star hotel and okay I did notice for example the carpets in reception area could be replaced and maybe the carpets in rooms however this is the smallest critic I can give. Staff friendly and prompt. Love the breakfast please don't change it it's adequate for this lovely gem.I been travelling to South Africa for many years and stay in expensive 5 star hotels in Waterfront. However I will definitely not write off this hotel. Loved it will bring my partner in my next trip to stay here. Its fits well for quick stopover. The location I felt not so bad as was mentioned about other critics Okay logic behaviour and your safety you need to be aware of your surroundings. Blend in like the locals and don't stand out like a tourist.Guys thanks I will definitely visit your guys again.

Stayed here for 3 nights in a standard room. Room was clean, well maintained and compact but comfortable enough with an ensuite bathroom, queen size bed, small wardrobe, table chair, kettle & TV with few channels.I didn't feel any impact if load shedding, so probably there was a good power back up available.Staff at reception desk are courteous but lousy. Check in & Check out went super slow.Breakfast was just okay and not at oar with other Holiday Inn properties I have stayed at in the past. The breakfast area was always crowded & messy. The hotel doesn't have an in-house restaurant or room service, but one can order online on Uber Eats. There is a functional bar at the reception floor. Most of the restaurants in the vicinity close down by 9:30 PM.The location of the hotel is good.

When we first arrived, after selecting the early check-in option, we found out that despite paying in full, they had no record of our booking. After a good 35 minutes this was resolved, and our rooms were allocated. Despite being non smokers, they placed us in smoker rooms, which smelt like 15 year old uncleaned ashtrays. The rooms are not maintained or cleaned correctly. My particular room had no electricity for half the day, the overwhelmed maintenance man tried his best, got the lights and plugs to work but not the Aircon. There's mold growing in the bathroom and 10 years worth of dust on the Airton vents, stains on the carpets and curtains. The area it's in swarms with beggars and druggies at night, making it almost impossible to walk around on your own. The staff try their best, but holiday Inn has clearly left this hotel to slowly Rot away.Give this one a wide berth, if you're looking for cheap quick cape town accommodation for a couple night business trip, try the stay easy, in bree Street, far superior, even cheaper rates.

Perfect location if you want to be in the centre of the city. The rooms are nice and tidy, but not much storage place for your clothes if you are staying here for a week or so. The bed is a bit too firm for my liking, too. The staff at the reception are friendly and helpful. Breakfast included, but it is just ok as when you ask for advice about what's gluten-free, they don't know what it means, but at least they try to find out about it.
