Mooihoek Strawberry Picking Farm

You pick your own strawberries at your own pace. It's a nice place to go to especially with kids or family. The entrance fee for adults is R60 and children R40 cash.

Strawberry picking is one of the cutest things to do. Mooiheok Strawberry Farm is a great place to do so. From the scenic route, it's location, the staff, and definitely the strawberries too. It's an amazing place. However, it's advisable to get there way early as it gets hot very quickly. On a busy day, it takes longer to fill up so one needs to be prepared to bend over a couple of times. Also, they sell strawberries at great prices on first come first serve. It's definitely a good place for a date or group activity. It's worth it. They also have a great restaurant nearby. So yeah.

Great atmosphere. Stunning setting. The host was superb friendly and very accommodating. They were busy but sorted us out with a table. Food delicious. We will definitely go back again!!!

Fun for the whole family! A memorable experience picking strawberries with the kids at your own pace

Lovely place to visit. Especially with kids. In the beginning of the season an entrance fee was charged (for both pickers and non-pickers) on top of the price per person for a bucket. This made it a bit of an expensive family trip. When we went again on 2 January, there was no entrance fee. But there also was no 4kg strawberry bags or large buckets available for picking. Unfortunately the shop also does not always have everything on the menu. I would recommend to phone ahead of time to confirm prices, availability of items etc. Have not yet been to the newly built restaurant. It still is a lovely place to visit and entertaining for the kids. Their strawberry juice is delicious.

Wow wow wow!If I could give them 10 stars I would have. Beautiful restaurant with 5star food. If you are looking for a relaxing day out and some fun with the kids, this is the place to be.The restaurant's veranda looks out over the whole strawberry farm.Just have a look at the bubble waffle photo we took!!! We will definitely be visiting again!

Great family outing, good quality strawberries. Nice experience for the kids to see where the strawberries come from and to pick their own. Nice day trip when combined with visiting Padlangs Restaurant and visiting the Kouga dam.

I had a fantastic day at this place. My friends and I really enjoyed our time there. The staff was very nice, and the strawberries were amazing. We would have picked up to 10 buckets each if we were not worried they would spoil. The experience of picking your own is a special one, and finding the perfectly ripe one is a treat. We will definitely be going back with a plan for more buckets. Thank you all.
