This place is a nightmare. The removal of the enquiries counter causes a longer queue than necessary. Staff are impatient, unpleasant to deal with and unhelpful. The woman at counter 2 is especially obnoxious and many visitors refuse to go to her counter. Her conduct alone causes serious bottlenecks

Was there about 6:15 this morning and this is how it looked. Reason for my 3 stars is that by now the city should have generators in place for loadshedding and the ticket system was also not in place.

On a Monday after 14h00 with the outside temperature into yhe high 30's I went to the Bellville traffic department with very little hope to renew my vehicle lisence. Well I was pleasantly surprised it only took 35minutes in and out! Fantastic! Staff are super friendly and helpful. No mess no fuss. Small pockets of excellence....

Utterly disgusting how a testing officer can SHOUT at a learners driver passing out no mattter the circumstances, have yourself CHECKED! Will NEVER recommend going there, they are very unprofessional and have no manners ! Voetsek!

Thank you for your excellent service this morning. It is normally an event that nobody looks forward to. There were about 32 people before me when I arrived. Yet, I was helped and out within 45min. Thanks again.

Made a booking online through the City of CT website to renew my vehicle license. Arrived on time to my appointment and was helped and out of the door in literally 10 minutes. Most efficient and friendly service I’ve received from a government office in ages!

Probably a half hour wait on a Saturday morning at 10am.6 tellers were active, and on the ball.Government facility, so not the best experience... but they were efficient and getting my vehicle licence renewed was pretty painless.

Getting my Drivers License renewed here was a pleasure, there was a que, and it took 2 + hours, but the staff are a pleasure, the time went quickly with constant updates from the floor staff on waiting times and the reason why.

I really had the worst experience here and would not recommend anyone to come here. I went there three times and still didn’t get any help and what was worse is that I’m just there to get a duplicate of my learners license. There was this lady (I don’t know her name) she had dreads and she was so rude to me because according to her my address was wrong , in which it wasn’t wrong and I tried to show her on my phone the evidence but she wouldn’t even listen to me . She was basically smiling at the fact that I was getting upset cause she knew I had been there three times already without any help. Would really not recommend.

Loadhedding!!!! I made an appointment for 9h30 and due to loadshedding people were sitting and waiting and I have no idea what happens when you have an appointment and loadshedding happens. So, I just left and booked another appointment with loadshedding schedule in my hand! What a disaster for business!!
