The Venue Green Park

Beautiful view but frustrating when you need help for a function and no one comes back to you for something as simple as where we can print a document.

We went to view the venue today for a function that I want to host. The lady who was supposed to help us view (Sheryl) was the rudest most unprofessional person I have come across. Firstly we were told we could have the venue till 1am, she changed it to 12am, there was so many other rules that she added while we were there that she did not mention in the email prior, when it comes to decor and removing it on the same day of the event etc. yes of course I could understand certain things, but she was rude and sort of belittled us, for no reason when we were there in person. Regardless we asked her to send the quote, because she maybe didn’t want our business, she then DOUBLED the quote unnecessarily, most probably out of spite, saying that there’s late night snacks that are COMPULSORY to have and non negotiable to not have and adding an extra 60k to set up our decor. And with food, she didn’t mention to us before that it was limited options, all of a sudden when we got there she said we can only have 1 option for starter, mains and dessert. She was absolutely unprofessional and ridiculous. But we now booked and confirmed our venue at the Leonardo.

Should you need a venue to host a function, this is the place to be, or should you want to do a presentation and charm your clients this is the place to be. It has awesome views. It will leave everyone talking for days. Its unique place with unique people and very friendly. Made a lot of friends with the stuff they are amazing. I just love this place its amazing. Beauty at its best.

This is a fabulous place. Magnificent view/s towards sunset and in the evening. Great service, food and drinks. The ideal venue for functions!!

A beautiful location for hosting events. It's the 20th floor of the Green Park building in the heart of Sandton. It's a self-contained events space that packs a punch in spectacular views. Stunning views by day and by night. Everywhere you turn, you're able to see urban sprawl that Johannesburg is. You can see far and wide as Johannesburg stretches as far as the eye can see. Just breathtaking.The Venue is not to be confused with the Venue at Melrose Arch. Double check the address on that invite before you head out. Many have made that mistake.The access is easy. It's just the lift from the ground or parking lot all the way to the top floor. The staff are always friendly. And there is a bar for serving drinks. The food that was served for this event was really delicious. I am not a fan of finger food but this was delicious. So find out about their catering service or suppliers for your event. It's an events venue for contained occasions and it has a small stage with a lectern / podium. So based on the numbers you have, it may just be perfect. There is a large screen on stage and tvs all around with a sound and visuals desk just tucked to the side.

Awesome view of Sandton CBD. Security is super friendly. They help you get up to 20th floor in a flash. The help inside is also friendly.

Lovely venue to host events, with beautiful views of Sandton.Disappointing part was that you had to use stairs to access the restrooms in the venue.

Had a great time and great service from everyone there, the venue is small but also has an outside area for a breath of fresh air.. definitely a place to visit! Great food as well!

Sherly has a bad attitude, we were considering using the venue to host a party but she was not friendly and seemed racist, disappointing!
