UNI-STAY Student Accommodation.

The time spent here has been horrible ,the management takes time to respond to problems and even when they do their solutions are not effective, they lie about back up generator, the wifi only works in certain areas ..i would really not recommend

Honestly RUN Away while you still have the opportunity to. I had thee Worst experience with this agency.They definitely do not take students seriously. If you want your parent or you as a client to be respected don’t set foot at Uni-stay.A disappointment the whole experience was a waste of time and resources. I spoke to the agent by the name of Nolo, PLEASE!! if you need an agent that treats both you as the client with respect and someone who actually does their job don’t bother coming to this place.Funny enough , Nolo a whole representative of Uni-stay will make sure to disregard any request or payment and will tell you to send an email for a place that has already been occupied. He will make empty promises and then run away when it comes to accountability.I think I can safely say one has dodged a bullet as this company definitely shows a lack of urgency even when money is on the table their priorities are definitely in the incorrect order in essence, the company comes first the client comes last or should I even say that they take you seriously as a client. It’s definitely giving a scammer type of climate.

You'll pay fines of which you dont know of, their level of service is poor, they know students are desperate for accommodation and that's how they take advantage of you. They dont know how to treat their tenants. Maintenance is always late and they sometimes tell you that you gonna pay for some things out of your own pocket whilst you paying them rent. They dont keep their promises, at the end they'll turn against you.

The service is so bad I would give it a zero. I would not recommend using Unistay. The administration is awful. When rent is overdue they will literally inconvenience you by locking you out of your room. But when it’s time to get your deposit back(after 21 working days after the contract has ended) they will take you from pillar to post! They fail to honour their own contract and they act as if they are doing you a favour as customer. Erika who is in charge of the accounts is never available and attending to personal commitments and there is no one else who can assist you.I’m so appalled at the lack of urgency and below average administration. I will never use their services again. I would definitely not recommend them.

We as students are not taken seriously. They disrespect us and our parents. We get unnecessary fines and they are never willing to hear our side of the story. Its a money hungry and greedy organization, their main focus is making money not providing a good service. I recommend you don't even biew their property, its all a facade. We were promised a cleaner and a caretaker but to this day we have none of those. I've stayed here for two years now and this is my last year using this accommodation. They could honestly do better.

Bad service(no communication) , difficult to get your deposit back, no maintenance(stoves not working, durty windows)

Worst services from them… firstly their places are overpriced, secondly their communication is nonexistent, thirdly their agents are clueless about EVERYTHINGBeginning of this year they moved my things from my room even when I had paid rent for January, I went to their offices 5 times for my things and all the time they said they don’t have the keys to where they put my things when I eventually got the numbers of Sol (caretaker) he told me that he tried to stop them from giving my things away without my permission and they lied and said I sent an email giving permission and they failed to show me that email! Still haven’t received my deposit! Unistay is a scam!

Nsfas students are not assisted until the list of nsfas funded students is out and by that point the rooms have been filled with cash payers. They work with properties all over Westdene so there is a variety of options

Does not respond to tenants emails. Show’s little to no interest in tenants complaints or requests. Have extreme favouritism and are biased in the way they handle complaints
