If you want to see a couple El Anne and her husband work hard to keep guests happy then visit the Willow Historical Guest house. We arrived tired but after a great shower, a few drinks in the bar and the most delicious Karoo style dinner we didn't really want to go to bed.El -Anne is a dynamo, she is front of house, in the kitchen and running around but always has time for everyone. As a foodie myself I have to highlight the food on offer and the preparation was perfectly executed. What a delicious dinner we had. Thank you Ultimate Braai Master contestants we will come back for seconds!

Very kind and loving people. They made us feel right at home from the very start and we had a great time. We had some divine food and great service with the most beautiful background music playing in the dining hall and the guests never having the feeling of being hurried along. We strongly recommend that anyone passing by should stop over and spend the night on the way to their destination!! There's more to Willowmore than most people would think!

The staff and owners went the extra mile to assist freezing cyclists during the Transbaviaans this week and expected nothing in return. The rooms are very comfortable and service is excellent. Thank you and I would recommend anyone who travels to this part of the world to support this establishment

From the initial call one hour before arrival, booking, cold beer before dinner, a perfect dinner, with a good nights rest, I cannot find fault. Just love this place, will be back and pet friendly, my doggie enjoyed his stay..

I love a good Hamburger. At The Willow I had the best Hamburger package I have ever eaten. Great tasting huge patty plus a generous portion of tjips topped with two veggies and additional 2 slices of freshly baked bread. All of this enjoyed in the company of the friendly owners and hosts inside the bar area which is also quite special. All in all a 10 out of 10 experience. If you are ever in the area of Willowmore, do not miss this opportunity. The menu is to die for, generous portions and fantastic food. Value for money all the way. You have to book in advance as they only open on request. Derek also makes some of the best dried sausage and 'boerewors' in the area. I loved the entire experience.

The Willow wows…El-Anne welcomed us warmly on arrival. Set in beautiful gardens, the restored historical homestead boasts a welcoming “stoep” and charming heritage interiors. We loved exploring the village – offering several activities, tours and attractions. Our cottage was comfortable, spacious and had beautiful touches. All the linen and towels were of good quality. Dinner served in the gracious dining room was the highlight of our stay – magnificent table settings, tasty dinners served with flair and superb service. Excellent wines available too.

We loved our overnight stay. The room was spacious with a claw foot bath in the en suite. A small fridge is in the room, along with tea/coffee facilities, and a big pool if it's hot. But don't miss out on the delicious dinner on offer. My husband had kudu steak and said it was the most tender one he's ever had. The curry was fragrant and flavourful. A big breakfast saw us leaving happy with full bellies. El -Anne and Derick were very gracious hosts, even storing our lamb packs in their freezer. Thanks, we hope to see you again soon!
