1st world service!We arrived close to midnight and felt totally safe.Staff were busy yet attended to us almost immediately and were very sympathetic, efficient, friendly and professional.The student examined and swiftly diagnosed our dog had Tick Bite Fever.This was confirmed by the Vet on duty & we were given an outline of the variability of the impact of the disease, of how it could possibly go with treatment and potential costs.She was booked straight into ICU for treatment.Follow up staff feedback and support was wonderful to the end despite that they are very busy.Thank you Onderstepoort, - your service was like finding an oasis in a desert for me!

I have been going to Onderstepoort for years without a problem. But tonight i had a nigtmare visit when i took my ill kitty. Dr Sandra Purwin is not the name Vet worth. I was totally disgusted by her attitude. Poor students apologizes the whole time for her attitude

I rushed my buddy today to the vet academic hospital after a minor accident. Though the waiting room was filled with canine-loving individuals, I was attended to swiftly. Within minutes, my buddy was observed and diagnosed. Though I had to wait for some time for the X-ray report and analysis, I’m glad that there were no major issues to worry about. He’s going to be fine! Thanks to Dr. Lieze van der Merwe and Marlene, the student doctor.

I phoned in to make an appointment for my dog and the lady that answered the phone @9:00am (Clair) was not helpful. The way she help me to make an appointment, was like she was not willing to help and it was a huge issue for her to do her job. in the back i could hear how other people was talking and laughing so laud that i got the impression the staff want to party and do not take people and patients seriously. Very unprofessional. We have been going to Onderstepoort Vet for the las 11 years and if that is the way people get treated, we will have to go to another Vet, it looks like Onderstepoort does not need money

Rushed in on a Saturday with an emergency, it is a 2 hour drive to Op for us. It was a last effort to save a horse as we don't have access to equine clinics in our area.The vets fought hard and tirelessly to save our boy, they treated us with absolute compassion.Unfortunately our boy could not be saved but i know that it wasn't due to lack of effort and trying from the equine team. Thank you for fighting for him. I always recommend this top class clinic.

Yesterday My 10 month old was swolen face, ears, neck, and had a rush all over his body. We rushed him to onderstepoort and doc emediatly helped. He is his old self today. Thank you so much.
