First time having Sri Lankan and I'm impressed. Not as strong and spicy compared to Indian cuisine. The dishes looked small but are very filling. Definitely better to have a few dishes and share to taste the different flavours of each plate. Most of the dishes compliment well with the fried rice or the roti. So definitely order them to mop up the sauces.Staff were very friendly, service was great. Good tasting food that is reasonably priced. The restaurant is quite small and very full tonight indicating it's a popular place for diners. Check it out.

• Its location is near the carpark, so it's really convenient.• The restaurant is really large. There are tables inside with sufficient gaps between. They are filled up quickly during peak hours, especially around dinner time.• The décor looks authentic. I love it!• Various dishes with great taste! I love the Roti the most!!• This is not like one-dish meal, so portions here are adequate for you to order few more dishes.• It can be a bit expensive but totally worth it. I'm sure coming back one day for brunch!

Unassuming cafe facade, behind it is incredibly warm service and gorgeous food. Destination worthy! We had great coffee and someHoppers. The takeaway sweet pastries we had later were even better.

Shakshuka originates from Tunisia and widely eaten all over North Africa, and Israel and Spain all adding their own local touch to it. Here the Fold they've taken the Sri Lankan twist to it by putting it in a Hopper which already has an egg it. Brilliant concept and tasted just amazing. Love this place. Highly recommended for brunch and just something different.

This is a lovely little Lankan eatery in Dulwich Hill. We ordered their 3 signature dishes and a selection of their desserts - all delicious. Their service was warm and timely, making me feel like I was welcomed into a loved ones home. Coming from the western suburbs the prices may seem a little on the high side, but remember you're in the inner west so you pay for the location, the ambience and the attention to detail...which The Fold had in abundance (we payed about $ 50 pp). I would recommend this place to my friends and I'm sure I'll be back again soon.

Wow - had dinner here and it was quite unbelievable. Appa-appa is a must try with the various condiments. We had the chilli paste lamb which was great. A lot of work goes into the maalu ambula but the dish did not work for me. The savoury rich is awesome and probably the only well priced dish on the menu. The quality and attention to detail is great - and reflected in the price. The best part was undoubtedly the desserts - the wataleppam is great and the souffle isnt bad either!

Eh - this place is ok.Came here with my Sri Lankan friend. We had the Pol Roti Red Lentil Curry, Soft Shell Crab Egg Hopper, Chai Latte and Early Grey & Ceylon blend tea.Ranking from best to worst1. Soft Shell Crab Hopper. Pretty good if you're willing to pay a bit more. Crab was crunchy and it had a good flavour.2. Chai Latte. Creamy, sweet and decent hit of the chai. Pretty good. The rose petals on top made the drink feel a bit more magical.3. Earl Grey & Ceylon Blend tea. Initially excited by their tea selection - but this one felt a bit average. Maybe the other blends taste better.4. Pol Roti Red Lentil Curry. Surprisingly disappointed. It tasted pretty good, but nothing mind blowing and considering the serving size, definitely not worth the $22 ish we paid for it. It was at most 30c worth of ingredients - it would've at least been nice to get a slightly larger portion of Curry.Customer service was fantastic and there were cute bamboo decorations scattered about.

If you're white and weak on spice (like me).… they have you covered. All Currys had spice and flavour but not to the point of burning.A lovely dinner with my partner was had.The vibe is homelyThe staff friendlyThe food, amazingItems on and off menu were fantastic.Sadly I was distracted by my dishes and forget to take pictures of the mains( a good sign).Worth a look if you're after slightly left of centre spice with a lovely warm atmosphere.
