a little disappointed with our last trip here..the dj seemed like he was still a beginner, his music was all over the place. in fact... it seemed as if he was searching for the next song as the current song was playing.. a little sad for a Saturday night out.One of our best unexpected nights here was when Tresor performed....Thanks Katzys, it was good while it lasted... but time for a new spot.

The only reason i give it a 1 star is because for roughly 40 minutes the music was actually good, other than that it deserves no stars. We went for the clubs 1 year birthday. Firstly we got there at 11:40 and were not allowed entry because we were not VIP. Non-VIP entry is for after 12:00 STRICTLY. Warning: the bouncers are on a real power trip so dont push your luck. Secondly its R200 entrance fee which gives you a space to dance dead centre because in order to get a space where you can sit you need to be a VIP. A bottle will set you back a minimum of R1650 and even if you do buy a bottle u still wont be able to rest your feet anywhere, dead centre is where you will stay with your bottle. and whats worse about being dead centre of that dancefloor? its also the pathway for the VIP's to walk. be prepared to make space for people to walk past you every 10 seconds. You will spend more time doing that than actually dancing. If you are a small person beware, u will get pushed, trampled and elbowed in the face a few times. Let alone the club being ridiculously small and solely catering for VIP's you will find 1 small cubicle in the bathroom, just 1. Would never go here again. Ended up leaving and went to Cantare in Monte Casino.... MUCH BETTER.

HYDRO LOUNGE ON MAIN (NYC).
Hydro Lounge is a rip-off. Girls are not entertaining. Avoid! There are much better places in that price range.

I liked the people I met, the danclefloor is decently sized. Loved the music. Great experience and overall nice place to hangout. Alcohol is a bit expensive, but that was expected for a matric-breakaway.
