MH Guest Farm

The best place for a relaxed family getaway.Staff, Petru, and owners were amazing, warm and helpful. The guest lodge is a beauty and the environment with the waterfall and wide selection of wildlife is beeeeaaaauuuuutiful. We would love to visit again.

Stood there with our caravan for 3 nights.Tap and electricity available.Basic rustic ablution.Extremely dangerous entrance from Schoemanskloof road.Some farm animals roaming about.Sadly, having often visited the old Martin's Haven, we could see the place is unfortunately not what it used to be.Security a big concern with main gate not even locked and to be opened manually.Lots of drilling and blasting on your doorstep with construction of new intersection with N4. Also with lots of workers...

We went there for 2 nights.The place has beautiful garden and animals. The flat we stayed in was not the money woth that we paid to stay there for 2 nights. The flats are right next to the N4. Can't sleep at night with the trucks and cars passing by and their lights shines right into the room. There is nou propper dishes or pots to kook your food. The cupboards looks like it's going to fall apart. The place really disappointed me.

The whole family enjoyed the scenery. The children enjoyed sleeping in a tent and grown-ups enjoyed the rather spacious chalet. We all enjoyed the river tubing and going down to the waterfall. Beautiful hiking trails. It was extremely relaxing after a very busy year. The best of luck with all the plans for the future.

I enjoyed Martins Haven. It is truly a farm experience. A river run through it. It is alive with barbs which indicate a healthy river. Beautiful waterfall with strong flowing water especially for end of winter. Lots of farm animals. Great if you want to get away from city life. Abundant bird life as well.

This is a nice getaway not far from home .. it's like camping but better . And very pet friendly

We camped right next to the river for 5 nights, and had a great time. River sounds masked the current road construction noise adequately. It will be even better once construction is complete. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. The river and surroundings are absolutely stunning. The visit to the waterfall was amazing!

We arrived late after a long day of delays on the road. In pouring rain we taken from the safari tent which we had paid for and, at no extra cost, were given a room in the lodge. There we ate dinner with the family and soon felt like old family friends rather than being first-time paying guests. The food was excellent and the room warm and clean. With hospitality like that we will definitely return and perhaps stay more than just one night. really top notch and very reasonable prices.

Martin's Haven was blissful and serene paradise on earth!The whole environment is more natural and different from what we've experienced before. The Waterfall, seeing baboons across the river, the sound of the flowing river, birds, lots of green grass, Ostrich ... all these combos makes it a place you will want to stay when you ever think of a guest lodge in Mpumalanga.The fact that it's central to most of the places you'll want to visit for sight seeing is extremely awesome. The kids on site are super friendly, well-mannered and cultured.Petru was of great service when we had to change rooms for one of our family friends at a very low cost. Thank you!The food is amazing, the rooms were clean, and the morning hike around the river, waterfalls was wonderful!Petru, Savaace, and Juan ... you guys rocked! Please keep up the good work!We will definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place full of nature.
