Tindlovu Camps Bay
Went there to on Valentines Day. Busy night, but not too busy. On the plus side the setup was wonderful. The views over Camps Bay were a marvel and its worth visiting this restaurant for the views alone.Unfortunately the food didn't live up to the ambiance and neither did the service. It took an age to be served and when I finally was, at times I felt I had been forgotten.To cap off a less than enjoyable night, my fish (I ordered fish and chips) came out undercooked. The batter was still raw and chewy. I didn't have the energy to complain so I went about my way.To be fair it was Valentines Day and the staff were likely working at maximum effort. So I don't think this is an indication of the restaurant itself. It was a bad day. I still think it's worth visiting at least for sundowners. That I would happily cosign.

We were extremely disappointed with our experience. We had made a reservation well in advance for the restaurant week special, but upon arrival, we were informed that the dessert had been removed from the menu due to the chef's dissatisfaction. The alternative dessert options provided were a huge letdown, due to the limited selection.The service was slow, and it took an excruciatingly long 1 hour and 20 minutes for our starters to arrive. While the calamari starter was good, the prawns were just okay. When we complained about the wait time, our main course dishes were promptly served, but we were disappointed to find that the prawns were overcooked and the fish salty. Despite these issues, the rest of the meal was average at best.To add insult to injury, we were then informed that there were in fact no desserts available - despite being told otherwise earlier. It was incredibly disappointing to have our dessert hopes dashed :( . As a result, we chose to have the dessert costs deducted from our bill and leave.Overall, our experience at Tindlovu was a major letdown, and we hope that they will take the necessary steps to improve their service and menu offerings in the future.

Tindlovu Camps Bay
This hidden gem of a restaurant offers an airy ambience.It's hidden because you're more likely to pop into one of the many restaurants on your way to its entrance in the heart of the promenade.Once you're in, there's an ample selection in the menu but it was the milkshakes that really stood out for me. You should try one!While you dine, there's a lovely view of the road below and the beach in the distance.You can also see tourists moving about in the open roof, double decker Cape Town sightseeing bus.

Located very nicely in campsbay mall, on the first floor, with a nice balcony from which you can overview the promenade and beach.The service was very friendly and good.The food was alright to good, considering the rather high prices i was expecting a bit more. A few more plantbased / vegan options would be nice as well.Overall nice restaurant though for south african cuisine.

Really impressed with the whole experience. Service was attentive, views were unbeatable and the food was flavourful and delicious. Loved the baby calamari, chicken wings, beef frikadelle and pap with boerewors! Would highly recommend them all.

Tindlovu Camps Bay
The view is spectacular. It was easy to make reservations, we were running late however, they were very accommodating. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. I would definitely recommend the grill Calamari and seafood pasta. You won't be sorry and can't go wrong if you looking for good food, atmosphere and view. The strawberry daiquiri was a bit sour, that was the only down side for me. And the fact that they can cater for Halal was great. Make sure you mention Halal in your reservation to avoid disappointment.

This is definitely a good spot if you wanna have some good sundowners and just enjoy the spectular view this location has to offer.The food is good, slowly working our way through the menu - thus far the burgers are coming up tops!Staff is very friendly and professional on both our visits thus far and food and drinks do not take long to reach your table.Would definitely recommmend - literally drove all the way on a Sunday to go to chill and have dinner here!

Get the view of camps bay- eat upstairs at Tindlovu Camps Bay. You will love it…What a wonderful experience. We opted for the sushi, excellent variety and good value for money. Thank you to Memory for the awesome service! Appreciate it!
