I won a outride for two people at Canterbury Equestrian Centre and our horses were jumpy they all were eager just to get home.

Canterbury Equestrian Centre
Well run stable yard that is right next to the nature reserve. Friendly staff that give a family like feel to those who stable there. Arenas are in good shape with well built jumps that can be adjusted to suit anyone from novice to expert.

Canterbury Equestrian Centre
The Cantabery entrance is the same entrance to Bisley nature reserve. I spend a lot of time in the reserve. A wonderful place to visit. Giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, and other animals. Also, about 300 different species of birds . A gem in Pietermaritzburg

Canterbury Equestrian Centre
I recently won an outride with a friend through a facebook competition. The horse I received was not fun to ride, and I was grateful to be an experienced rider myself as he kept on trying to make a run for home. We were sent out with one of the stable hands who walked in front of us the whole way. Overall I was not very impressed by the experience.

Martin & Laurie, who are the owners, run a good operation. It is popular venue for equestrian events. Laurie is my granddaughter's coach & is a positive role model

Canterbury Equestrian Centre
Canterbury provides such a lovely wholesome environment to learn a new skill. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and the instructors are excellent. My daughter loves every minute spent there.

Canterbury Equestrian Centre
First time at this venue as an official. It has the facilities some of which are rudimentary. The venue works without being flashy, or top drawer.I would say they are a work in progress, and congratulate the owners on the work the have done already. I have faith that this venue will step up and become a premium venue in the future.

Excellent riding school. Gideon is a very talented and a well experienced instructor!! Highly recommended.
