Friendly volunteers, beautiful scenery starting at entrance of Marloth Nature Reserve, in Swellendam. Fast downhill start with couple tough hills and through a plantation area. Stunning Swellendam mountains as backdrop.

Such an awesome vibe! Tough five kilometers. Not called 'The Beast' without reason. Highly recommended for every enthusiast. One that has to be on your list.

Well you won’t get a better welcome from this friendly bunch but don’t rock up expecting a PB! The course is known as ‘the beast’ a name it well deserves! It starts at the entrance of a nature reserve (thereby avoiding the R50 entrance fee) and heads down a track for half the distance leaving a slow 2.5km climb back up to the top to complete the challenge. Not many finishing with a flourish but that is not to take away the spectacular scenery around you - it is stunning! Friendly organisers and a good one to conquer!

This is a really challenging but beautiful parkrun! Definitely one of the most scenic parkruns in the Western Cape.
