Always a great spot to pull in. Been for a quick drink to end off a Sunday before the weekend ends, to watching sport on their TV outside. The German is always welcoming to their guests and have the best patrons who make you feel right at home. Prices are also really good and food is damn tasty, so make sure to get yourself a Pretzel and an ice cold German Beer in the Mug ;)

Ordered a frankfurter hotdog and it arrived with cuts in it so all dried out and not crisp and juicy like a normal sausage. The funny thing is that I asked the waitress if it comes as is or whether it is cut at all and she confirmed that it comes uncut. When I returned it without touching it I heard the cook ask how it changes the taste. The waitress came back to me and said that the cook had also said they have to cut it up otherwise it explodes. Hahaha haha tell all the hot dog vendors in the world that. They tried to make me pay for it but I obviously refused. And before all this happened I never received my second beer. A terrible experience with no follow up from the owner when we chatted on whatsapp.

Delicious and authentic German food and great atmosphere. Hubby and I really enjoyed the meat platter for 2. Will most likely become one of our regular hangouts :)

Very limited breakfast menu and even that they could not get right. Served cold and long wait times. Cyclist are not that fussy but the basics have to be in place

Lovely lively restaurant and pub.Good selection of local and German beers.The menu has a definite German influence but there are other meals available.Nice big screen TV to watch F1 or soccer.Doggies welcome too.

The menu is limited, but who cares because at other restaurants most of what is on the menu is very generic. As the name The German suggests, you will get authentic German food. Came for Sunday breakfast. The waiters and owner were extremely friendly and helpful. We were told if things we ordered would take longer but to me this is a sign they are being prepared from fresh. Please keep up the friendly service! Will try the beers next time, seems a bit weird to order those for Sun breakfast:)

It is lovely traditional German pub. It is worth visiting. Expect good service most of the time. People are friendly and laid back. There is a TV inside and on the outside for sport events. TVs are a bit low for all people to have a good view. Expect to get most popular German dishes. Breakfast bit small. Everything on the plate was kept to the minimum so not for the hungry. Parking is in front of the pub and always enough parking. Broadacres are a quaint little shopping centre.
