Best and friendliest service from our waiter from any restaurant in Margate by far. Well prepared meals with decent pricing for what you get. Decor and era specific posters and bar makes for an interesting dining experience well worth checking out. A must for good food well selected background music and a hearty meal portion on top of that. Nicely done. Will be a first choice for us in Margate.

Great place with unique vibe and friendly waiters unfortunately does not make up for broken en leaking toilets and dry steak. I think this place is a lot better during peak season.

Went to Friar Tuck for the first time today & I doubt I'll ever go back. Defrosted burger buns a big no no when there are so many local supermarkets to buy from fresh DAILY!

Old school and still going with the old classics. They need a wine list with wine & prices asap (Once known as having a great wine collection & now no wine list) and new staff need some menu training. Very friendly and helpful. Nice view for the bike fest activities.

I love the theming of the interior. It has a charm that you don't see every day. One issue we had was that most of the dishes on the menu was not available. My chicken was a little undercooked but the cook was quick to correct it. It was a different experience as no other place has Dumpling on the menu, it was devine. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive. The restrooms need a little more attention. Overall it was not a bad experience but improvements can be made

The steak were prepared as requested and tasty, the fish okayish but the Burger dry, overcooked and the bun old. The music were too loud to be able to have an conversation and the same song repeated for 15 min till we requested that someone attend to it. The waiter were friendly and the decor interesting. This can be a really nice restaurant

Service was very good from all the waiters who served us, two dishes were missing ingredients from the menu, such as rice for the fish dish and an assortment of nuts for a salad. The waiters brought them promptly in side bowls, as soon as we notified them. Overall a lovely restaurant.
