They are currently working on the shop, therefore the shop itself is closed, as well as the bathrooms. Toilets are in a container at the back. No toilet seats, no toilet paper, and always leaking water onto the floor. No handsoap or papers. Illegal hawkers everywhere and beggars. If you can hold it, I suggest you do. Really bad experience.

Dirty, no visible security, and you feel unsafe at night as you are harassed when you get out the car. Offer the beggars food and they are dissatisfied. They want CASH. Don't stop here at night if it can be avoided.

Good break after a long drive

Bathrooms had a strong sewage smell. Serve at the coffee deli was super slow and in general this ultra city is dirty and grimy.

The place is dilapidated, the sign has mold water marks. Steers is closed, the damage from the riots haven't been repaired. Seems like Shell has lost interest in this filling station.

Good refueling, hunger and rest stop on the N2 North & South. Its about 60km out from Durban towards Stanger and 10km from Stanger towards Durban. It has good fast food places such as Steers, a convenience shop and there are vendors who sell good hand picked season fruit a good prices.

Great service from the fuel attendant. Well done.

Under construction - petrol pumps seem to be working but the Steers restaurant seems to be under construction. The Spar Express store is open and serves Bean Tree Coffee.Toilets are rather dirty.

My family and I stopped at Shell Ultra City N2 north on Tuesday 24 December to use the toilet facilities which were disgusting. They are in a container as a temporary measure during renovations. The toilets were so filthy as to be unusable. No seats, no toilet paper wet floor. On our way back on Saturday 28 December we stopped at the Shell Ultra City on the other side of the N2 and the toilets there were, if possible even worse. Out of three toilets in the women's section, one was out of order, one had no cover on the cistern and no handle to flush and the third was filthy with excrement under the toilet seat. Considering this is tourist time in KZN surely your employees should make sure the toilets are clean and functional. Please reply to these comments.
