Great service

They sell durable stuff.Nice dresses and shoes they got my family is happy

Went in the wonderpark store. They displayed dresses. As i was about to check sizes they said they are not selling the dresses today. I must come back tomorrow. My question is why dispay things and say you not selling them when customers want to buy.

My review is just to vent out of frustration and disappointment about my experience (19/10/2021). Jumbo has became like my go to store because of affordability and quality. So today I went and left my things at the parcel counter, just as I left the counter the lady that assisted me realised that I had fragile things because there was sound of breakage. She asked if I had breakable things and I said yes, only to find out when I got home that indeed an item in my parcels was broken. I called the shop, spoke to her she clearly remembered me when I told her my story, she even agreed to pay for the item when we spoke on the phone because it was between us apparently the store policy doesn't cover that. Me being the honest and genuine person that I am, I went back to show her the item to my surprise the tables were turned. She didn't deny anything but because I only realised it when I got home now she was saying how sure are we that it didn't happen after I left the store. Because the manager got involved nou we had to come to a solution 1. The store policy doesn't pay for items damaged which leaves the person responsible for the damage to pay 2. I asked the manager to let us finalise the issue by ourselves because as a store they don't take responsibility but she also wasn't going to let the lady pay because I had already left the store" SOLUTION or what was supposed to be - The lady was now agreeing to pay half the money of which to me is nonsensical that I must now pay half of my own money 50/50 to replace the item. To Jumbo if you are not sure if the item broke after I left the store how sure are you that it was not when I got in? ...My points stop making excuses and take your customers seriously you can't be playing hide and seek with people's monies.As for me I refunded the dress I bought at that time and you have lost a customer..."
