Little Cupcake Bakery

My family and I have been going to this bakery every week and we really enjoy their cupcakes, brownies etc. However one of the times the brownies had an unmistakably strong smell & taste of savory food which ruined the brownie.So we took it up with the owner only for them to become very defensive claiming it wasn't from them even thought it was clearly the same packaging and the same look of their brownies. In the end they did replace it free of charge was was very welcomed and I had hoped it was a one-time slip-up from them.However after purchasing brownies again from them my family noticed that this time there was a slight taste of something savory once more (although not as terrible as the first time) and 2 of the 4 of us found something hard and plastic like in the brownies themselves.I do not doubt that while baking the savory and sweet foods are done separately but there is clearly something happening maybe in the storage that is letting the brownies get the savory taste - as for the plastic hard bits in the brownies I have no clue how that would happen.We would bring this up again with the owner but we do not want to get as cold and defensive a reception as last time if not worse.Truly a shame because we really enjoyed their stuff but we can't defend it a second time around.

First off, the bakery smells so homey. Got eclairs, brownies and a large milktart. We are so impressed. Shukran Sadiqa for making it old school! Looking forward to trying out your full selection! Please try the milktart!!

Super impressed with this bakery. I gave a last minute order, literally the day before the event, and got the most beautiful 4-layered drip cake that tastes like heaven. Easily the best vanilla cake I've tasted thus far. I definitely highly recommend this Bakery, for helping me out in a flash & doing a beautiful job, that tastes yummilicious.

By happenstance I found this cute little bakery and everything I tried was phenomenal. This is by far the best baked goods I ever had. Believe me, I tried every other place in Cape Town. The shop is clean, friendly staff and the baked goods really is 2nd to none. A must try, you will become addicted it's honestly phenomenal.

Hello, hiI recently bought a red velvet cupcake and vanilla ring doughnut. Both of the items, so so delicious.The cream on the cupcake, so light and airy; not overwhelming. The cupcake itself, soft and moist.The doughnuts had just enough and more sprinkles on it, delicious vanilla icing sugar on top and soft doughnut.Worth the price, I'll surely be going back!
