DSW Bellair Garden Drop Off Site

Usually neat and well managed compared with other sites in greater Durban. But this week it was an overwhelming mess of uncollected garden refuse and other waste because of a recent workers strike. I hope its back to normal soon.

Convenient, fast and more organized than the one in Woodhurst.

Very well organised dump site. It makes recycling very straightforward and accessible.

Been there only 3 times and been helped by this guy who is not friendly at all. First time he refused to take my waste and told me they only take garden waste only, that time I can see all sorts of waste material, just as I was about to go then he allowed me to dump as if he was doing me favor. I then told him that the next day I will bring my garden refusals and he said ok.The following day I come with my garden waste and then he tells me that I am only allowed to dump once a week, I then wondered why he did not inform me about that on previous day.Well today I went to dump a broken door and one facia board. There I am smiling and the guy is angry for no reason, he comes and tell me that they don’t accept facia boards I must go and dump them at Illovu, really?, I must travel so many kilometers for 1 facia board? While he is talking to me he is busy shouting at one of his colleagues telling him to stop that old man from dumping what looked like small concrete.

Most unhelpful bunch of people around. They think they are doing us a favour for allowing us to dump our stuff there. They always have an attitude and will refuse to let you dump. When you argue with them, they will then relent and let you offload. No management on site......

A great, convenient, well planned facility with friendly, helpful staff. Makes dropping off garden refuse a pleasure.

Decent municipal service but sometimes not maintained properly.

My vehicle was chased away by very rude employee. I pay rates for no service

You can dump basically anything here, great drive In and drop off place. And if you have something of value you may even be able to sell it to them.

Extremely rude. No wonder people are dumping everywhere illegally
