Mobile Auto Mechanical

This was an exercise is futility. I called a number of them that I found online and FB. Three promised to come to my home to attend to my vehicle. Two despite promises and appointments just did not turn up. One did eventually arrive after promising to arrive in half an hour, messaged after and hour to say that he would be on-site in 15 minutes, arrived an hour later. By this time I had, had it with them. I told him to leave as I felt totally disrespected for the lack of respect for me and my time.I tried again calling online again and came across two, what I thought were a more sophisticated lot. They wanted call out fees ranging between R600 & R1 026 to do an assessment and then quote. All I wanted was for a mechanic to come out and get my vehicle started and idling which was the fault. I found these charges ridiculous!!! I will under no circumstances use this option ever again and would advise against it. Imagine if one's vehicle breaks down far from your home and just needs to get mobile again????? Perish the thought.

Needed a jump start and my alternator tested. They came out to me. Sorted me out in 10 min. Good communication, good service and good pricing.

Unreliable service as others have mentioned. Took my car battery to charge and I paid for parts and he is nowhere to be seen. Will report for theft. To all else please avoid this person. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone

Not reliable at all. Confirms time and mentions he will be with you in an hour but just never pitched. Very bad service

Ben, a lovely guy from Burundi, has been a mechanic for 15 years! He'll come to a place near you, and really knows his stuff. Negotiate your price and he'll fix your vehicle asap.

They came out to where I was broken down and installed a new starter motor on the spot for a great price. Highly recommend these guys .

Scammers and time wasters -will take your money and not show up when they say they will

BEWARE SCAM!! Three weeks ago Ben came to inspect my vehicle, and dissembled and removed window mechanism for repair.I paid R2400 upfront for necessary parts (shocks, wipers etc) and I haven’t seen him since. He has ignored my messages, left my car in disarray. My son and I now have to walk/rely on Ubers which have mounted more costs, and I am now short on cash to hire someone else. Reported for theft and vandalism.
