I bought a VW Tiguan through inspecta car Klerksdorp. What a horrible experience! From the start I asked for a fixed interest rate(got whatsapp's to prove it) and asked for no additional insurance product on top of the car sale. After a week of owning the car I went through the copy of the documentation send to me via Wesbank and I noticed that nothing was as requested. I asked the F&I on the 23rd of Des 2022 to remove the insurance. To this day 09/03/2023 no refund on the insurance. On the matter of the interest rate she said that she never received any communication regarding the fix interest rate (which I asked for on whatsapp) and told me that I should have known that the interest rate was to good to be true for a fixed rate. They also told me that the car was serviced but when I looked in the car's service book there was nothing regarding the service. They asked me to bring the service book to their dealership so that they can fill it in and stamp it after promising that the car did go for it's service. When it was time to go and collect the book they told me that the service book was accidentally given to the wrong customer and that they are waiting for the customer to send it back from Bloemfontein. Thank God I got the service book back.The next problem was that it took them more than 2 months to register the car on my name and give me the license plate. When I send the info to my insurance agent I noticed that the registration number on the license disc and the number playes given did not match. I really tried to be patient and give them the benefit of the doubt but too many errors and little to no communication from them. I still have to reach out every time and ask what is going on.Wish things was different because it was my first car purchase and should have been an exciting experience but turned into a sour experience.

Poor service, untrustworthy and fake complaint registration system by franchise, it will just give you a fake reference number that does not match up with your complaint and no one will ever contact you. So if a deal goes South, nothing you can do about it.

Waiting for a long time to get refunded for a diagnostic report that Inspectacar agreed they would pay. Sent a number of email follow-ups and even phoned the bosses office a few weeks ago - still no refund. Will definitely not recommend them for follow-up and after sales service.

Great BMW i got, sadly two weeks it started smoking had to book it at BMW for fixing_ costs R20K. Big ups to Reuben for excellent customer service as for others when i inquired about my license disc i wasn't taken seriously.
