Great drop off. Absolutely free. If you've just moved into a place and have loads of cardboard boxes and plastic bottles this is the place to go. They also accept furniture items and other items of recycling.Driving towards the end can look a bit sketchy as there seems to be a few delapitated hijacked buildings but the entrance to the dropoff is guarded by security guards and the whole operation is neat. The staff help you offload right away, and I noticed you can also drop off old furniture etc. Where there seems to quite a few interested refurbishers and or people looking to find some items for their own personal use.

The place itself is great - really efficient, neat, clean and tidy. However - be careful of the unofficial people at the entrance - if you stop to see whether you should turn right or go straight (turn right), they will likely hop on your car and start off loading things - it's a bit disconcerting and I doubt the stuff lands up where it should. Rather go immediately to the official waste drop-off.

I went to dump garden refuse. The staff are friendly and helpful. The place is clean and looks well managed. There seems to be order and good work practices in place. The site is open till 7pm weekdays in summer. There will be a different closing time during winter. They are open on Saturday and Sunday but I'm not sure of the times.

The facility is well managed there's always guys to guide u where to go but need some upgrading to reduce on waiting time especially on busy days. Secondly the facility serves s very big area with lots of constructions and rehabilitation work so need to be expanded

Drove all the way there to take our empty boxes and some refuse there. Due to ongoing strikes they did not allow us to leave anything. We had to turn around with a full load. Was very tempted to just dunp it outside where all the informal people are collecting things but also don't want to be part of empowering this situation....

We come here at least once every two weeks (to drop off recycling or garden refuse) and I am always impressed by the tidiness, efficiency and organisation of the place. The staff are helpful and it's conveniently situated.It's clear that the people who work here and manage it take a pride in what they do - plants and flowering bushes everywhere, neatly swept and painted.Another bonus: We've also managed to buy some very reasonably priced second-hand bric-a-brac.
