The service was absolutely wonderful. One of the friendliest places I’ve ever been, we changed our booking which was no problem and had a wonderful dinner. We also thought the room was gorgeous, and all the decor.There are two small things I’d like to raise:There was a creaking above the bed, maybe from the ceiling or above, which made it almost impossible to fall asleep.Only one curtain in the room means it fills with light in the morning.We’re light sleepers but the wonderful owner made us very happy at dinner :)

We arrived at 15H00 ..to our surprise the owner gave us an upgrade...the staff was amazing and go an extra mile to make your stay pleasant ...food was delicious..room was clean.. highly recommend the place.. well done to the management and his team..

Host and chef Peter is thee best. We arrived late but he insisted on making us a scrumptious dinner himself. We had to extend our stay and he was very accommodating. Highly recommend peaceful, clean and lovely place to stay in Ermelo. Keep up the good work Peter!

The food was excellent. The accommodation is not at all comfortable. The bedroom has awesome wooden floors that need a good fixing up. The bathroom with its black slate just doesn't leave one with a comfortable feeling of hygiene.This isn't an expensive accommodation, so for its price it's acceptable standards. The staff and Owner are super friendly.

Such a caring host, the room was great, the food fantastic, what more could anyone wish for. We will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal or an overnight stay in Ermelo. The rooms were large, the beds kingsize and an electric blanket to keep you warm.

wow Peter is the best host ever, so friendly and he pays attention to details. The food at his restuarant is divine, out of this world. Every night my colleagues and I could not wait for dinner, it was like we were on come dine with me, something different every night.

This was an absolute amazing experience. The food was exceptional with fresh ingredients harvested straight from their organic garden.The staff and owner made us feel right at home, and treaded us like we were family.Good place to be in Ermelo.

I booked 3 rooms for my family and the stay was absolutely lovely. The cleanliness was 100%, my sister has OCD and she was impressed.The breakfast was delicious, might I add how clean their kitchen is. The staff is amazing and honest. I left my priced AirPods and my uncle left his charger, the owner (Peter) went out of his way and couriered these items to me at no cost! Not to mention how he answered my calls at 1am with no attitude.I would recommend this lodge to anyone based on the amazing hospitality, the best service and absolute value for money. I cannot wait to book with this lodge again for my next visit.
