Had a young male (Shae) from Rooftec come out and give us a quote on roof and gutters restoration work. He said he would have the quote to us in a couple of days. That was 10 days ago and nothing has arrived in my email. Rang the company to check about the email address and the receptionist said that she would get onto the person who did the quote and get him to send it out. Rang next day and said still did not have the quote. She said he would email it that afternoon. Rang next day and explained still did not have the quote and she said she would get someone to ring me and get it done. Guess what still waiting. If they don't want the work why waste my time and come and not give a quote. Really disappointed as the reviews said they were a good company but if I have this much trouble just getting a quote how long would I have to wait to get some work done.

We had a new roof put onto an existing carport. The workmen were extremely prompt, professional and hard working. The roof was completed quickly and the work done was to a very high standard. We were extremely happy with the service provided and the clean up after the job was completed. Thank you so much for the wonderful roof and your hard work. It looks fantastic!

We have used roof tech to repaint our old and tattered roof tiles.The end product was phenomenal, the roof looks like new and the cost was extremely competitive.Shea got up there and got the job done from beginning to end on the same day.Always pleasant to deal with, returned our calls when needed and in a professional al way.Would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking to get their roof fixed.

Rooftec is your option next time you need similar repairs Thanks Shae & team. From the minute I made the appointment, the service & communication was fantastic. Shae turned up promptly with text message confirmation of his imminent arrival, quote then arrived as promised a day or so later. Mark came ahead of expected to do timber roof work with his offsider - great work & no mess when they left. Shae turned up on schedule to do gutter repairs - excellent. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Rooftec was recommended to us by a trusted contractor (painter) so we thought we would be in good hands. Unfortunately it didn't turn out well, we had to cancel the job part way through due to several issues, none of which Rooftec seemed willing to resolve or acknowledge fault.The issues were:1. Difficulty in coordinating Rooftec with other contractors required to get the best outcome (painter and landscapers) and no willingness by Rooftec to work with us in scheduling the job at the appropriate time (taking into consideration weather and other contractors).2. Was scheduled to remove old gutters and install new gutters and downpipes on Wednesday and Thursday but turned up expecting to start the job on Tuesday, giving only 13 minutes notice via text message of their arrival. I subsequently had to cancel a medical appointment which I was charged for due to last minute cancellation. At no point did Rooftec provide an explanation as to why they turned up on a different day then planned nor was there any apology given when I told them I had to cancel an appointment due to them showing up a day early.3. Rooftec wanted to proceed with the gutter removal/installation without considering weather conditions (week of torrential rain and storms were forecast) or the fact the fascia boards were wet and couldn't be painted until they had a chance to dry. They lied and told me my painter wasn't available so they were going to paint the fascia boards instead. What my painter had told them was that he wouldn't be able to paint the fascia boards with them being wet so it would have to be postponed until the following week to give them a chance to dry. Rooftec ignored this adviceand were going to proceed with painting the wet fascia boards in the hope we wouldn't notice (they considered this an unnecessary additional step in the process). When I realised what they intended to do and the fact they had lied to me in order to push ahead with the job, I asked them to stop work so we could resolve this issue.We had been trying to call Rooftec to discuss this prior to them coming on site but phone calls were not returned before they showed up a day earlier than scheduled.4. Rooftec was incessant on proceeding with removing the old gutters that day they showed up unannounced despite us questioning if that was wise to have gutters off for over a week especially given the weather warnings issued for Perth over the coming days. When the storms did hit, we had significant internal leaks due to excess water from the main roof that was no longer being redirected by gutters and downpipes. When we told Rooftec about this and showed them photos and a video of the water pouring through the ceiling, Shea not once acknowledge that the gutter removal had contributed to this. His response showed no concern for any damage that was being caused. It was at this point we were really concerned about just how little consideration he had for this job.5. Gutters were delivered to our house with no prior warning from Rooftec that they were being delivered and it was by chance we were home when the courier arrived. The courier intended to leave them on the verge.6. We paid a 20% deposit before the job started, so when we notified Rooftec that we were not happy with the way this job was going and didn't have any confidence that we were getting good quality service, we asked to discuss if the deposit amount covered the cost of materials and if so, could we have the remaining materials delivered. A week later, after several phone calls and text follow-ups by us to finalise everything, we were told that the deposit only covered the cost of the gutters that were delivered, the labour cost of removing the gutters and a $110 consultation fee (first we heard of a consultation fee). If we wanted the remaining materials that would be at an additional cost as well as a $150 delivery fee.At no time during this job did Rooftec offer an apology or show any level of concern that we were not happy with the way the job was proceeding. Unbelievable!

Rooftec completed repairs & repaint of our tile roof, replaced all gutters / fascias / downpipes / valley gutters / eave sheets and organized new soakwells and outside painting. All work completed to a good standard by professional and reliable tradesman during an unpleasant hot weather spell. No issues – happy to recommend Shea and Rooftec.
