First time me and my fiancé both othered a vegetarian meal. We both loved the flavour of the meals. Great service. Very friendly chef and staff.

Great experience and great food. Dave cooks from an open kitchen with a small staff and you can immediately see his consistency and the excellence he demands and applies. I can honestly say that I've never had food arrive at my table hotter than I received at Dave's, as the nearest waiter will avail themselves instantly when pickup is called.Even with a full restaurant, the small staff kept up with orders flawlessly.The presentation is on par with great restaurants we've been to and the flavours were spectacular. I highly recommend the tasting platter as a starter to get an idea of where you would like to head with main course.For me, the fish meals were by far the best, and I wish there were more dishes celebrating the local ingredients like those fish dishes did.Dessert was grand and the chocolate fondant was excellently prepared and delicious (paired extremely well with an espresso for me). The milktart spring rolls were a refreshing twist on a boring classic, making someone like myself appreciate a south African staple dessert that's been shoved in my face since birth.Dave's is a superb, unique establishment and in a world full of quick and easy food, stands out like a beacon. I look forward to seeing how this restaurant grows and evolves

Michelin star deserved restaurant. Attention to detail and very well prepared food. The food was beautifully presented, we did not expect to find such a gem in Stilbaa! Highly recommend it!

You cannot visit Stilbaai, and not pay a visit to this amazing restuarant. The food, service, atmosphere, all was exquisite!

Best dining experience in a long time!!!! So worth the wait to get a table. Pork belly are super delicious as well as the fresh fish. If tou have to go for dinner in Still bay, this is definitely the place to go to.Martin, our waiter was just the best!Thank you for a super evening

Stilbaai was just a stopover for us on our way back to CT, but Dave's Kitchen made it a highlight! What an amazing hidden gem! Their food is out of this world, the chef is so talented, I think Gordon Ramsay would approve! I'm sure every dish on the menu is world-class; I had the seared tuna with wasabi mash, and I cannot even begin to describe how sensational it was! Excellent wine, and great waiter, what more could you ask for. Thank you for a 10 star experience!

Cannot find fault. Visited as a party of 4 and all enjoyed the 3 courses. Fantastic service and advice from our waiter Martin, who certainly knows the menu. Very friendly atmosphere and very clean. Nice to be able to watch the food being prepared. Also noticed during any short intervals of not cooking their time was spent cleaning. Highly recommended.
