Failure to provide full disclosure and transparency of the risks and side effects of the prescribed chemotherapy specific to age group and comorbidities. Proved fatal. Oncologists are the absolute pits. DEMAND the service your medical aid pays for.

Taking someone to oncology for radiation every day for 5 weeks is very hard but, when met by staff that is absolutely dedicated, friendly and caring like the staff at this faciliy, one actually look forward going.Awesomy staff.

First experience dealing with Cancer. Have been very dissapointed so far. The presumption is you know the procedures which is not the case if you are new to this. Clearer communication definitely needs to be worked on. Am sure there are procedures that need to be followed but the lack of sense of urgency with regards to actually starting the treatment plans adds to an already anxious situation. Would have hoped / presumed the experience would have been more competent and professional. In an already bad situation the worst thing to feel like is just another number...lets hope the experience gets better..
