Got great service and bought a Bluetooth portable speaker was allowed to compare the sound quality of the speakers

I really like this store. I would rather pay bit more and buy from them then any other store with similar products. The staff at this store is amazing, and always willing to assist. I bought two RCT megapower inverters from them and the manager arranged from other branches for it to be delivered to the store within days as it was an online item. I really can't fault this store in anything and have bought numerous TVs and electronic equipment from them. They also have a very good return policy.

If I could give this company a 0 rating, I could. Absolutely revolting service.I bought a laptop from them, early 2023. Few months later, it has many issues so I send it back to be fixed because it’s still under warranty. Firstly, I wait WEEKS for parts to be delivered so they can start fixing it and I need this laptop URGENTLY as I am a student. As soon as I request for a new one, all of a sudden the parts have arrived and they are now fixing it. WEEKS later, the company are apparently couriering the laptop but it is being sent back and forth but NEVER to the delivery address that I stated.They NEVER update me and I’m always the one calling to check on the progress. Instead of being given straight answers, I keep on being LIED to and sent back & forth for MONTHS.I still have not received my laptop.I am so annoyed and I would not recommend buying a laptop from this place, let alone Acer.

The Branch Manager of the Hifi Corporate Pietermaritzburg, Khaveer Soni was exceptional.I had purchased a fridge online which within a month I experienced issues. On the 11th of March 2023 I contacted the Customer Service Support Team via the portal to lodge my complaint! This complaint was also raised with Hisense. Hifi Corp Customer Service Team were economical with responses or a resolution (actually only received one response on 16th March 2023) and then they abdicated their responsibility referring me to Hisense.On the 22nd of March 2023, I contacted the closest Branch and to my absolute delight was referred to him, he was polite and eager to assist! Follow up and feedback were prompt!!! My replacement fridge was delivered today the 29th of March 2023 and I believe without Khaveer intervention this matter would not be resolved.He also restored their Brand and customer centric values!!!

My son, Andy recently upgraded to a new TV.. Absolutely awesome after sales service by Vanilla and staff at Pietermaritzburg hifi corp. Sooo happy.. Recommend this store too anyone!!!

I had bought a brand new Asus laptop on the Cyber Monday special. I was extremely disappointed that the product had worked once and essentially broke

In store service is good but online deliveries take long. In this day and age you cannot afford to have turn around time of 5 to 7 working daysMy last time ordering online. Thanks Mpume
