Great backpack house. The pizza is really good made from their own woodfired oven.

The owner was rude, she accused my friends of picking me up from the road when I wanted to join in and pay for a stay and I showed her proof of Identification that I'm a a student from a university nearby UCT and she still maintained her stance. I found that remark interesting given I was the only African amount my friends. I'd have much rather have preferred to sleep in a cell tbh those capsules are a match box

I've stayed at a lot of hostels before and I believe this was my worst experience so far.I believe if this place would have an inspection, it would be shut down - I am surprised it is legal for a place like this to operate as a hostel.The hostel was dirty (the sheets had stains, I had to cover them with my beach towel to be able to lay down and had to use a t-shirt as a pillow case), the room was not really a room - it is more like a sketchy wooden veranda structure they've built on top of their pizza place - where you don't even have walls. We couldn't sleep at all as the noise from the refrigerator was insanely loud during the whole night.I'm just in shock that they can operate such a horrible place and not be shut down.I would not advise ANYONE to stay here - don't make the same mistake we did!Also, as soon as you arrive, the owners give you all these extra charges you have to pay, it felt very dishonest and just a way to make a quick buck outside booking.We've asked for an early check out and ran away as early as we could - horrible, horrible experience.

Thanks Capsules for The Most Amazing Hospitality and Awesome stay at your Place. The rooms, Showers, Pizzeria, and Immaculate, Hygenic conditions are more than up to standard. Mike and Marayna are such Awesome Hosts. We had soo much Fun. Home away from Home. I didnt even have time to miss my home. I will most certainly be back to stay on my next Holiday. I will recommend Capsules anytime to anyone. Missing you guys already. Tons of Love Shelley and Joan.

The price for the night should be all inclusive. Very rustic and not for family with children. I'm not sure what capsules usually look like but these looked like cupboards with mattresses thrown inside.

The rooms themselves are 3 stars. Everything feels DIY in the pejorative sense. Capsules are made of plywood, with cheesy rolling doors. Couples share capsules there's only a sheet of plywood and a coat of paint away from their hotel room". Mosquitos breed in the backyard and find their way into your cell

Just not happy with the food from the Pizzaria. I hope it can soon increase in taste. The pizzas are ok. (We ordered more than once) they could have used a bit more time in the oven to get the cheese melted properly. The oven might have been too hot because one whole side of the pizza was crusted black like toast and the toppings looked and tasted as if they were just warmed up. Its really just a bit bland without a good base and herbs too. The Lasagna is very starchy and very bland. It tasted like a pre-frozen pre- made meal. I dont know how I feel about the taste of mince in Cape Town. A lot of potential with the menu - just needs a bit more oehmf. And unfortunately extremely overpriced for the lack of quality.Fairly disappointed. :(
