Checkers hyper in festival mall is one of my favorite places for shopping. You get everything want in the store. I especially love the checkers card deals. It is amazing. You will mostly find better deals on most items in this checkers compared to some other stores. Their customer services are superb even though it is an hyper store.

Easy access to the store from the covered parking. Floor assistant took me to the product I was looking for (lunch boxes). I managed to find everything I was looking for with no hassles. Service at the tills was quick.

My husband and my elderly mother were shopping there on Friday afternoon. My husband had his phone stolen from his pocket as did another gentleman. There are a few of them at a time, mainly women who are so quick you don't even realize it. They are so brazen and professional. They use trolleys to box you in. Be very careful when shopping here.

The cashier made my day by being so honest after I left my cellphone at the till exit after paying for my goods. She handed it in for safekeeping until I came looking for it. Out of gratitude I gave her a few rand's to buy her something to eat or drink. The world can do with more honest people like this ladie. Thank you lady u made my day, God took note of the motive from your heart.

The store is huge, you get easily get assistance if needed and workers there are helpful. My only problem is I bought bought something that wasn't as fresh as I expected it to be. But besides that, I am okay with it.

Be careful if you buy pre-packed cold meats marked as a special. Got home and had to discard 4 brand new packets of cold meat- all with mold on them. Dont have time to return for refunds.
