Terrible service, items not ready even a day after scheduled pickup. No communication. Unreliable. Just know they will do it when its convenient for them and they will lie about pick up date so you might have to go there more than twice and cross fingers that they might have got to do it such a gamble.

Best service ever, my mother fixed her shoes at this store and my car key casings were also fixed well by a lovely gentleman. We even got a discount on the battery car keys and l was so over the moon. Would recommend this place to anyone, anytime.

Not helpful...needed engraving done...lady too busy on her fone to assist even tho I was the only one in the shop-decided to go to the N1 branch where the service (Liza) was amazing.

Shockingly unprofessional, abhorrent customer service. I strongly suggest against doing any engravings at this branch - my item had missing elements on certain letters due to a machine error and the words misaligned. The employee repeatedly failed to admit to a simple mistake while continuing to exclaim that it is in fact (for reasons unknown to me), MY fault. I guess the price you pay for affordability is unmitigated disappointment. Thank you Barksole Century City for completely butchering a wonderful gift and refusing to take responsibility for it!

Very good business etiquette!Excellent service from the staff and the owner himself.They went through all measures to help me find a solution to my problem. They managed to solve most of it.At the end, there was one solution for the rest of the problem - a refund. The owner threw in recommendations and was very happy to assist me with a hastle-free refund. What a great experience.Thanks for puting your customer 1st guys !

I had some old sneakers that I loved but the soles were so run down they had holes in them. My socks got soaking wet when it rained. I heard Barksole replaced shoe soles for 400 rand so I decided to give it a try. They're BRILLIANT. The soles look original & the workmanship is perfect. Yes, it's expensive, but I can wear these shoes at least another year so it's worth it.

Very well located, right by the Checkers. I had keys cut, a leather bag zipper fixed and a pen engraved for my partner's work anniversary, all while doing my normal grocery run. Staff are super friendly and I saved a fortune. It also feels better not having to throw things away unnecessarily, particularly when they are special gifts (e.g. the leather bag). Many thanks to Neil and his team - will pop in and say hello on my next shop at Checkers.
