A wonderful place to rediscover the South African bush! We saw lion, cheetah, elephant, rhino, buffalo ... all manner of antelope & bird... and to top it off, the magnificent leopard posing on a rock. An amazing experience to treasure.

Absolutely amazing place. The staff are all extremely knowledge, trust-worthy and friendly. The attention to detail and cleanliness is next level all throughout the entire lodge. The lodge has plenty to offer everyone.

Beautiful area (with lots of wildlife!) and great accomodation. The staff and rangers are brilliant. My time at Thaba was simply amazing, and I can't wait to go back! Special thanks to John and Sandy.

Only 2 and a half hours drive from Joburg, this luxury exclusive use 10 sleeper self-catering safari lodge in the Black Rhino Reserve, Pilanesberg is a wonderful place to relax and unwind in nature, in the beautiful lodge and on professionally guided safaris in the Big 5 reserve. Very reasonably priced

This is the most beautiful lodge, and exceptionally run. The staff are all outstanding in their roles. Zander's knowledge of animal behaviour as well as his immeasurable preparation before each game drive will ensure you have an unforgettable experience.

I saw 4 out of 5 from the big 5. It's a little pricey, however, this place is amazing. The Staff are incredible and well knowledgeable in tracking Animals. All credit to Thaba Lodge for an amazing experience that will be remembered for a lifetime.
