If you have a love for wine, as well as a sweet tooth, then Montagu Wine & Spirits is one of the places that you should visit if you're in the area. Although they specialize in sweet wines (muskadel and port) they also have white wines and red wines available for tasting. Their wine tasting center and the tasting itself is nothing special, but it is worth the visit. We tried a variety of different wines, that are very well priced, and ended up taking some home as well. Something to note is that if you purchase wine the tasting fee is waived (subject to change).

Their wine's and even their grape juice are really really nice! My first wine tasting experience ever and I'll recommend all wine lovers to pay them a visit.

You will have to travel extensively to discover a better red Mascadel than the Montagu Red Mascadel from Montagu Wine & Spirits. So smooth and sweet. Reminds me of Karoo winters in front of a Dover Coal Stove.
