Fernwood Manor
My wife, out 7-month old baby and myself recently stayed at Fernwood Manor for our second time. All I can say is we will be back again a third, fourth, fifth and countless more times! We stayed in the Queen Suite and enjoyed our stay immensely. The rooms are spacious, bathrooms are immaculate, facilities absolutely wonderful. Staff are professional and friendly, overall a very welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast is incomparable. Centrally located and a home away from home.

Amazing!! Fernwood is such a beautiful and lovely place. We arrived at Fernwood early and we were allowed to store our luggage there. It was a very warm welcome by Nathan. To be surrounded by Nathan, Aaron, Jane and Emmanuela was one of our best experiences. We stayed at Fernwood manor for 11 nights and had a great stay. The rooms are very beautiful and the breakfast was delicious and more than enough choices to start the day right. We will come back and highly recommend this beautiful place to everyone!!!

Beautifully appointed room opening onto the pool with stunning views of the back of Table Mountain. Lovely staff always on hand and very helpful especially Emanuela. Location in Newlands is a 15 minute walk to Cavendish Square shopping mall and many excellent pubs and restaurants. Theocratic just off the M3 makes it a simple drive to centre of town, or over the hill to Hout Bay and Chapman's Peak. Or over to Somerset West and Stellenbosch and the Winelands. It'll be my first choice when I come back with the family.

Fernwood Manor
We had to work 9 days in Cape Town and I chose the Fernwood Manor to stay and we really felt at home. It is very confortable, very clean and spacious and the common areas are beautiful, not just the garden with the swimming pool facing to Table Montain but also the main living room, some other cosy sitting rooms and the kitchen where we used to get to have our breakfast.The breakfast by the way, it´s delicious with many options of fresh fruits, croisants, muffins, cereals and hot platters like my beloved eggs benedict. Special thanks to Nathan, Emmanuela, Jane and Aaron because we took care of us as if we were all a big family.

The rooms were impeccable. The location is so peaceful and private. The food was great, they asked us what we would like to eat every morning (which is nice for those who have specific dietary requirements). The service was outstanding, the owner is such a lovely lady and the staff working there are incredibly polite and will go out of their way to assist you. The only reason for not giving it a 5 star is because my 2 white tops came back a different color after giving it to them to wash.. not a train smash though. I will still go back!

Fernwood Manor - Home away from homeMany years have passed since I first stayed at Fernwood Manor. Over the years, this beautiful mansion in Newlands became a home to me, whenever visiting Cape Town. The property is in immaculate shape and thanks to the exceptional, friendly and professional staff members, every visit to Fernwood Manor is an unforgettable one. I will be returning in January again and can't wait for it to sit down at the pool and enjoy a glass of Cape Wine in the lush garden surrounding the manor. Thank you!

A very beautiful, clean and tidy guest house situated in Newlands, a beautiful part of Cape Town rated 5 star and worth every star earned.I would recommend this venue to any person intending on a stay-over in Cape Town as it is situated in the center of the greater Cape Town City with easy access to all parts of the picturesque province.The friendly staff will definitely see me again.

Jackie and I would like to thank you all for such a wonderful stay, your breakfasts were amazing beds were great and house was spotless. The staff so helpful, knowledgeable on all we needed to know. So central to everywhere in Cape town. Some great walks all around this area. See you in October for our next visit.

It was my 80 year old grandmother's first time in Cape Town this past week - I booked me, her and my mom in at Fernwood. Our family suite was lovely. They served breakfast every morning and it was amazing. The area is beautiful, green and so quiet. The staff was also so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Fernwood.
