Awesome place to meet up with friends or make new ones. Food is great. Hosts are friendly and most welcoming. Prices are very reasonable. The Steak (300g) with chips is good value for money. Another awesome evening at the Hog. Nice and busy

From the first time we took my mom to your restaurant, she was hooked. She loved the atmosphere, as well as the food. So when it came time to organise a family get together for her 80th Birthday, on the 22nd of April 2023, it was a no-brainier. And you did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in until we left we were made to feel welcome. The service was impeccable which was a feat on its own because we were 20+ people, served by one gentleman who had to tend bar and look after some other tables as well, and there wasn't any mistake on any of the orders, the food arrived quickly as well as hot, and everyone was served at the same time.The portions were beyond generous, and the food delicious. When it came time to pay there was no mix-ups with the bills (everyone paid for themselves). Suffice it to say, as customers we inadvertently threw every possible obstacle at you and you met every challenge with aplomb. My mom's brothers and sister flew and drove in from all over the country and they complimented your establishment every time we got together this weekend and even when they phoned to let us know they managed to get home safely, they just had to mention what a wonderful time they had. Thank you for making this family event a truly memorable one, that will be remembered with fondness for years to come.

Eisbein lovers, this place is for you. I have never seen an Eisbein so big and yet cooked to perfection. Portions are decent and well priced. Nice place to unwind and catch up with some friends.

Buggered up my child's birthday booking twice in two weeks. No apologies. The food is good, really good in fact, but you have to have a lot of patience. Pity about the service. One out our party got served and the rest got served later...
