Burchell's Bush Lodge

Our first stay here was 10 years ago during our honeymoon. We stayed here over the weekend for the second time, we and our small kids enjoys it alot. Great place just to relaxed. They had uncaped wifi. See alot of people had moaned about the internet a few years ago. (Not that it really matter, because you came to rest and get away from all the daily stuff.) We loved our place, it was clean, we had everything that we need for self catering. The staff are always friendly, and helpfull. The units are cleaned everyday. You get a pen and paper to write down special instructions for the cleaners. It is convenient for when you leave early for a game drive. They still can do what you asked them to do. Well done from our side. They dont have a bar, yes there is people that wants to enjoys a drink or two so bring your own. Otherwise the hotel is just around the corner. They are 300 meters away from the Kruger gate. Well done guys. Thanks for a lovely stay. Before i forget they have porter service to assist withh your bags.

It's a nice place to stay if visiting the Kruger Park since the one Kruger entrance is very close. Loadshedding was never an issue here with the generators they have which is a huge plus. The only issue I had was that the rooms/chalets are somewhat close together so if your neighbors have kids you will hear them, but other than that it is worth staying here when visiting the Kruger.

Very nice, close to the Kruger gate. Not alot of things to do for kids, bur close to Hotel with plaý gound.

A lovely bush lodge. Every comfort without being showey.The staff are wonderful. Friendly and helpful. Someone cares for this place - and it shows. Maintenance , upgrading and restoring is in evidence! Keep it up managerial team! It can only go from strength to strength. Well done!

They are self catering units with more than the necessary amenities, all the staff were very helpful and polite at all times. Being just outside the Kruger National Park is a bonus.

Beautiful lodge just next to the Protea hotel by the Kruger gate. Clean. Friendly and professionally dressed staff. Staff cleans your unit daily. What a pleasant atmosphere at the pool. Tebogo from the office is very kind, knowledgeable about nature and always willing to help. Definitely recommend!! Will come back again.

Very comfortable, well equipped;Has wifi and dstv but we preferred to just sit outside and watch the occasional antelope that walked by. Wish I could have brought the bed pillows home...so good!

What a awesome place. We got to see the wild dogs in our camp. The staff was helpful and friendly, the young lady at the Front desk was very friendly and helpful all the time.Thank you guys was fantastic

Very chilled bush lodge with well designed and kitted out chalets. Not a lot to do at the lodge, but then there is the hotel and the Kruger Park just next door.
