Unlike other Apple outlets, nobody took note of me and one or two other clients waiting without knowing where to go for service. Until I went to one lady and asked for help.Issues, which I thought would be sorted, were not sorted.Asked me R250 to just wipe the device.But at last, this gentleman was kind enough to say, it's easy you can do it yourself

A well positioned store accessible from both sides of the shopping mall.The layout displays all the Apple products in an open and accessible space.The service staff are capable and efficient and clearly understand and explain their course of actions.I received an SMS in under 2 hours that my problem had been resolved. The system of collection is far improved from going back to the queue at the service counter.

So I have both a bad and great review of this iStore's service.I purchased a new iPhone 14 Pro Max at the beginning of March 2023 and my contract was set up by Ntando. Firstly I waited for 4 hours before I could get assisted, then when I was finally helped, this guy messed up my contract and gave me what I didn't ask for, didn't explain things fully and was in such a hurry when he helped me. A week later I found out he made my contract an airtime one instead of Minutes after I had confirmed this with him instore over 5 times to make sure. The way I found out is because I followed up with Vodacom on a debit order he hadn't told me about. When I called the store to enquire about this Ntando was VERY VERY rude and disrespectful on the phone, he immediately went into defense mode and wouldn't even bother listening to me and my concerns, to the point of telling me there's nothing that can be done to rectify this, when I refused to accept especially because he had made me aware that I had 30 days to voice out my concerns on the contract, he spoke to his manager and came back to say I'll need to convert the airtime from the contact to minutes (which gives me less minutes than what I need) or I'll need to keep the contact for 3 months and ask Vodacom for a migration after that period, which is something I didn't want because that's not what I purchased the phone for. At this point he was undeniably furious and so he then put his manager Montsur on the phone who was EXTREMELY polite and kind. He asked me to tell him what happened and so I did and he listened attentively. We then arranged for me to go to the store to fix the issue, cancel the contract and get a new one the next day. When I arrived he was VERY helpful and welcoming, he asked Matthew (Abram) to help me with cancelling the contract and getting a new one. Matthew's service was beyond PERFECT he walked me through the entire process, gave me feedback regularly, showed me the different options available and their cost on the screen more than once, verified my details at every step, and most importantly made me feel heard. I walked out understanding everything and barely had any questions. We had lovely conversations and throughout the entire time Montsur was in close reach following the process as well.This is BY FAR the best iStore service I have ever received. Before I went back I was so sure of the fact that I would never go back to that iStore or purchase anything from there ever again, but now I'm the happiest customer ever and looking forward to more purchases and technical support. Thank you so so much to Montsur and Matthew (Abram) for your kindness, help and respect. I was honestly so stressed by the entire situation before they stepped in. The last thing I wanted is to spend the next 3 years paying for a device I hate because of an error a consultant made and is hell bent on denying.

Prior to going to the Apple store, I booked a technical consultation. Upon arrival at the time of my booking, I received no support and had to stand in a line.There was no initiative from technical consultants nor staff on ground to facilitate the process. In essence, I am struggling to understand why the booking was required as I waited 30+ minutes to be assisted.It was honestly a massive inconvenience and I truly hope that this feedback is taken into consideration and the process of technically assistance is better managed.

Beautiful showroom, however your service consultants unfortunately drop the ball big time.Consultants have no enthusiasm. They aren't friendly or courteous and roam around the store like zombies.Online orders also get lost in limbo, nobody gets back to you.Rather buy from Takealot, Incredible Connection or Computer Mania.

I'm going to keep this short and simple. My experience with this iStore, sorry to say, SUCKED. I would advise anyone needing assistance with their apple device to go to any other iStore and NOT THE ONE IN CANAL WALK!!! It's very clear by the many bad reviews on this website. They don't even answer their emails.

It’s a premium store yet there isn’t premium service. I’ve gone in there twice, the first time, nobody approached me or assisted me in any way even though the shop was quite empty. The second time, I went in to ask for assistance and all I got was attitude. Now I’ve gone in a third time to charge my phone, as that’s services they provide, and the same gentlemen have me slack as well as another lady. Now I feel anxious as ever to step into the store.
