Horrible Snoek Fish and chips.The fish is tasteless and has lots of smelly fish oil.Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone I am highly disappointed.Regret spending my money at this place.

Rated this store 5 stars on my previous visit but this time it is down to 1 star, would have made it zero stars if I could have.Not sure if shop changed management or what the problem is food went from good to bad.We bought 2 of the double up meals with portions of calamari and a pop prawns.Cole slaw received with the meals were very small and not very fresh.Pop prawns only a quarter of the box were filled, about 5 pops.Chips, fish and calamari must have been fried in VERY old oil, not tasty at all and very oily.Will not visit this shop for a very long time.

We ordered fish and chips and asked if they can organize a burger from steers with the R15 delivery fee and without any problems they did that. We received our food still warm within 30min. We will definitely use Bellville fishaways again! Thank you very much for your excellent service and friendly help girl! I wish I could remember her name.

Ordered 2 meals via Mr D from your restaurant. My food was excellent as usual, unfortunately the wife's fishcakes and salads was not good. The fish cakes were squashed and it didn't taste nice at all. I ordered an extra fish cake with my hot pot meal and it was divine. It seems to be two different kind of fishcakes, tasted totally different? We took a pic of the squashed food that can be provided.

If I could give this place a zero rating I would, I don't think fishaways even deserves 1 star. Not only did I wait a hour for my food (which was 2 medium calamaris), I was flat out ignored by the cashier as well as the manager (which seemed to be the only person running around frying food). After waiting for my food for almost a hour, I asked if they have started with my order. I was told it's in the fryer. After 5 more minutes, standing there watching the kitchen, I see the lady put my order in the fryer. I then requested a refund, but was ignored and the lady just turned her back on me. I ended up asking 2 more times and every time I got the same reaction. I then requested to speak to the manager, and got pointed in the direction of the lady busy frying,and then again, the cashier just turned her back on me. After raising my voice and demanding for the 3rd time, the manager came to the front. I was quickly given my food and I left, after being there for a hour. I got home only to find a few pieces in one box and even less in the other. I ended up driving all the way back, asking how many grams the calamari should be (200g)...the manager offered to weigh my calamari, only to come back saying the 1 was 150g and the other 180g...i paid a fortune for the calamari, waited a hour for my food (which resulted in the rest of my family's food being ice cold) I drove all the way home only to find a small portion of what my calamari should have been. After waiting for a hour, they still could not get my order correct. The staffs attitude is pathetic and I was clearly not the O ly frustrated customer there that night. I would never ever EVER recommend this place. I've been staying in Oakdale my whole life and since fishaways opened I always wondered why it was so empty and the other places so full... Now I know why.

I have small hands as I. Only 5ft. This is a medium grilled hake. Its so small?? What must I do with this tiny thing. Fill my left foot. Its disgusting!!!!!!!

DONT order by them on uber eats. their portion size is ridiculously small! Spend 270 for 2 lrg hake parcels that isnt even the size of a 750ml water bottle. I regret this.

Its the 2nd time ive ordered from this branch. The rice was still a bit hard and had prawn skin in it. The prawns had all the skin on still and was fried with it. The coleslaw is very dry. Ive never paid R300 for food this bad.
