It is sushi special night, the restaurant is about 60% of capacity. A constant stream of uber eats / Mr Delivery drivers arriving to collect plastic bags set out on the sushi bar counter...Making four customers wait more than 90 minutes for a single plate of sushi each...All while the uber eats / Mr Delivery drivers come and go...Unjustifiable given the circumstances. I would NOT advise anyone to expect good overall service from this place.Going back would be setting myself, and my friends, up for disappointment.

The food is consistent. The service was non existent. We had to wake up twice from our table to locate a waiter. Apparently the online orders were overwhelming the ljmited staff

You can always trust Simply Asia Durbanville to deliver poor service when dealing with take aways. They consistently get our orders wrong. They consistently don’t have food ready as advised by their staff. Them saying collect food in 30-40 mins means that when I arrive after 45 mins they just about going to start with my food order. If you want to be disappointed when ordering take aways then come to Durbanville Simply Asia.

Used to be my favourite. Service has gone down. Twice my order was incorrect and I only realised it when I got home. After having to drive back to get it replaced with correct order my compensation" for my half hour effort each time?: 2 chocolate spring rolls and a scoop of ice cream.... pathetic.Last Friday was the absolute end of it. Found a cockroach in the bottom of the chicken dish after eating 99% of it.Phoned them immediately and they promised to get back to me on Monday.Still waiting for the call....Dismal. Not going back"

While I love Simply Asia food, I find placing a takeaway order near impossible. Firstly their line is always not available and then when I do get through trying to order with the staff is really difficult and loadshedding adds another level of complication.

Enjoyed a lovely tom yum ramen at Simply Asia. Cosy little restaurant, food was on point. Service was a little slow but the food was great.
