The dining experience here is truly fantastic. I have been to Melkbos Kitchen a few times now and each visit has been even better than the next! The quality of the food is incredible. It is clear that they use only the best and freshest ingredients. Additionally, the restaurant is positioned right on the beach which adds to the overall ambience. You cannot visit Melkbos with visiting The Kitchen!

Really enjoyed the lunch. The food was expertly plated, and very tasty. The Cheese Cake was out if this world!!!! I will find a reason to return just for the Cheese Cake!! The view was awesome....just Blue ocean as fast as you can see, (although there was some mist hanging around for a while, but it eventually lifted). I would also bring a jersey...but if you forget yours, they do have blankets for your convenience.WELL DONE GUYS, IT WAS AN OVERALL GOOD EXPERIENCE.

A must visit! Great atmosphere and the waiter was so friendly aswell as at the reception. I just recommend making a booking even during the week. They get full so easy. But definitely worth giving them a visit! The breakfast was perfect! Also had cake later in the afternoon.

Just loved this little unexpected gem! Friendly staff, beautiful views, delicious food and drinks. Electric points if you need to charge your laptop should you find yourself working. Thank you to all for a lovely morning spent at your restaurant. We will be back!

Lovely place that borders the beach and serves delicious fare. The atmosphere is open and airy, and the menu is extensive, sporting multiple versions of eggs benedict and other scrumptious breakfast/brunch, lunch and dinner fare. Get a table outside to enjoy the view.

Classy place with great service. The views are spectacular on a good weather day. Situated a few steps from the rocks and water, you may as well be right on the beach. There is indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of tables but they are often very busy so call first if you are driving far to get here. The menu is good, the food quality is excellent. It is quite pricey but they lean more to fine dining than fast food so you pay for what you get. They don’t have a lot of their own parking, however there is a large public parking space across the road. You can bring your kids here but there is no play area on site. They did have a high chair for our little one which was nice. The waiters were excellent and we were well attended to. The entrance is wheel chair accessible and they have a side entrance to the outdoor area as well.

The Melkbos Kitchen really has some of the best food in town, along with a really great atmosphere and front row view of the beautiful ocean.Often busy though over weekends and last seating is very early during the week. Regularly cannot get a spot, and their poor booking process and a ‘can’t help’ attitude from the team is a little disappointing - particularly as a local

We were lucky enough to get a 'walk in' table for two in spite of the 'fully booked' sign. The reception and customer service even before tasting their offering was impressive. The quality and freshness of the seafood starters was awesome but the main course was even better. The best oxtail stew I've had in many years. We will visit again, but we'll be sure to book ahead of time and you should too.

Wonderful spot close to the beach the most gorgeous view. Food was unbelievable and service was tops. Ended the meal with a cheesecake to die for and cappuccino. Over all a good experience and a restaurant not to miss eating at.

An absolute must try!We had a great experience from booking stage until we stepped out of the restaurant. Such a lovely ambience whether you are seated inside or in the courtyard facing the ocean. I've been on 2 occasions, having booked for dinner (which is a must as the restaurant was fully booked) and a spontaneous pop in for lunch (there was a table free).Their seafood dishes are delicious and their sushi is now on my top 5 list! Generous portions at very reasonable prices. It's an establishment I can visit again and again without breaking the piggy bank.The only negative" - no bookings are taken after 18h30. All patrons have to have vacated the restaurant by 21h00."
