Of the many assets in Reservoir Hills, Sozo Spa must rank among the front runners. As management is welcoming, masseuses are professional and prices are excellent, my wife and I often take advantage of this facility on our doorstep and are happy to recommend Sozo Spa.

Sozo Spa Never disappoints !! 3rd or 4th visit to the spa and I’m blown away every single time. Their new and updated room in Umhlanga Cabanas is absolutely tranquil and relaxing. My husband and I thoroughly enjoy the couple massages. The owner goes out of her every time. The staff are very friendly yet professional. Thank you Sozo Spa Team

I've recently done my nails at Sozo spa and was extremely disappointed.The nail tech was lovely and polite however Sozo needs to train their staff.I had several pictures and inspo ideas however the nail tech could not do any of the designs, I had to settle for nail art which was limited. I paid R310.00 for a set of nails that I do not like and R60.00 for nail art on 3 fingers on each hand.Would not recommend.

I have been to Sozo a few times.They can do much better.1. Noise levels needs to cut down in reception area.2. The choice of music definitely needs attention.I heard Kenny G while having a massage .I felt it was not appropriate, too loud .Needed something more calming, soothing and relaxing.3. Beds too close to the door and when the therapists walk in and out I feel there is insufficient privacy.4. Massages are good .Very good pricing.

I have never experienced such terrrible rude behaviour from a place before especially one that works in what is essentially hospitality. No welcome/greeting given and was accused of being late for an appointment that the spa got wrong and tried to blame me for. I am absolutely disgusted by the service and just as a side note I have been to many spas at all different price ranges and have never been told to bring my own towels which was only told to me when I arrived at the spa and was berated for not doing. I will never return to this spa. The arrogance and rudeness of the some of the people there is truly confounding.

Went for a massage which was actually not bad, but the lack of professionalism afterwards when I was getting dressed was appalling. Staff just barged in without knocking to sanitize for the next clients while I was still undressed, then not even 3 minutes later another lady comes in to rush me off as the next client is here. Then the staff came in a minute later to sanitize (they knocked this time), as I’m trying to get my watch and jewelry and just quickly neaten my hair, I get rushed out again and told there’s a mirror in the front.This would have been okay if I was dilly dallying but our massage ended at 12pm- by the time I was sitting in the car after all this and having spoken to someone at the front desk about being rushed out- it’s was 12:12pm. A lady at the front had said that they do give 5 min to undress and dress on either side of the treatment- to undress that’s fine, but after having a massage, being covered in oil, hair and face messy- it takes a few min to clean up and go. And for staff to just open the door without knocking and then starring at me while i was still undressed expecting me to let them come in was terrible.Over and above all this- the plinths didn’t have any cover on so we were asked to bring our own towels- fine, but the plinth was so cracked and old that the cracks in the face hole hurt my skin and even pieces of the plastic/blue pleather was stuck on my face after. There was no tissue for the face hole even for face hygiene. With all the cracks and holes in the plinth, just wiping it with sanitizer is not enough to clean it.

The people working at reception aren't friendly. Where you put your face on the massage table is uncomfortable and not covered by tissue. The staff ladies do not make you feel at ease at all.

Great service. Friendly staff. Love the massages and the relaxing music.Just the stairs going down can be very challenging for elderly people... But overall service is good. Thanks Sozo.

My friends took me there for my birthday, did they not ruin it. Massage was great asked for an eyebrow wax and tint, she started by tinting and followed by wax, told her it was too big she said it will be okay, boom she did not wax my brows but just facial hair. I am soo disappointed because i told her. She needs to say when she doesn’t know how to wax
