Muizenberg - St James Walking Path

My favourite Sunday afternoon walk in the park, Muizenberg to Kalk Bay Harbour. With a coffee included when we reach Kalk Bay. Can be crowded.Car watches at Muizenberg very helpful

I walk this path almost every day -Living opposite on the Main rd. One of the best walks in Cape Town. Muizenberg to St James along the seaside. Spectacular scenery at every turn.

I felt very unsafe doing this walk. Leave it to the locals.

Lovely walk along the shore, however, watch out and don’t go there alone. Some suspicious people might be around.

This is a very easy walk along the coastline. Park at Muizenberg Surfers corner. Walk along the coastline - the railway track one your right. Stunning scenery all along with some beautiful art on the walls. It's As you get to St James there are great coffee shops, cafés to stop and enjoy some treats. You can walk all the way to Kalk Bay. Stop along the route to have a swim at the. tidal pools. The first tidal pools is in St James ,where the little multi-coloured wooden huts are. The next tidal pool is Dalesbrook. There is a restaurant across the road, Dalesbrook Restaurant- they offer a service to keep your valuables safe whilst you enjoy your swim and they deliver your food/ drinjs to the beach.Muizenberg to Kalkbay Harbor is 3.5 km. A definite fun to do outing.

I love this walk. It's beautiful and easy. Frequent muggings make it unsafe, though, so stick to Saturday walks.

One of favorite places to walk in Cpt.

A great walk along the edge of the ocean, one of my favourite morning or evening running routs. The only minor negative is the train track on the land ward side of the path.

Nice easy refreshing walk. Carefull when the South Easter blows, you could get wet. Lots of benches on the walkway to sit and look at the ocean. Keep an eye out for some sea life and birds. Busy walkway during weekends and early morning late evening.
