Since we moved from Johannesburg, Vida is one of our favourite places. Good snacks, great coffee and great selection of alternative milk. We frequent the once in Fish Hoek. So friendly as well

If you are thinking of purchasing a Vida franchise, come to this store, and you will be cured of that notion. This business cannot survive for long. This may (or not) be the worst Vida in town. Just go elsewhere, and find another way to spend your vitality points. I think the previous review on this platform covers some of the issues. OMG. If I had the energy, I would get it closed down on health and safety grounds. Nevermind the absolutely atrocious staff

Unpleasant atmosphere. Tables are filthy and full of debris, not sure when last windows were cleaned, floors mopped with a dirty mop, never get chocolates with your drink, kwaito music played at top volume on bad quality speakers. The outdoor area is nice but unlikely to be enjoyed in winter

What's in the bag? Slop. After asking for my sandwich to be toasted in store before I left, I arrived at my destination 5 minutes down the road from Constantia Village to find this soggy depressing excuse for a sandwich" hiding inside.Customer Service really did come to South Africa to die. Disgusting.Won't be supporting any longer as there are smaller coffee places that produce consistently better products."

A customer narrowly missed being killed or seriously injured when he happened to be leaning forward when the ceiling trap door fell onto his chair. This very heavy object should never have fallen which is a major issue. Another very concerning issue is that the staff hardly batted an eyelid. The customer's table was cleaned in due course and a staff member offered him another coffee by talking to him from behind the counter but the lack of reaction to a literally potentially deadly encounter had to be seen to be believed. Other minor issues include the tables being dirty, the shop being packed up before closing time, no chocolates with the coffees and indifferent customer interactions extending beyond near death experiences to the more mundane. Rather get your coffee elsewhere. I was also at Vida in camps bay a week ago and the reception was frosty. Seems like a theme.
