I only discovered this hidden gem a few days ago and oh my have I been missing out. Absolutely beautiful setting on top of Josephine’s Mill where it feels like you are sitting in amongst the trees. The food is also really good and super well priced for what you get. The staff are lovely too. Wish I had discovered this peaceful spot sooner!

The diverse food options available La Cuccina make it a hidden gem in Cape Town. Their menu and buffet table offer a range of dishes, from butter chicken, to interesting green salad to classic family favourites like cauliflower cheese. Prices are incredibly affordable, as your plate is weight according to your selection. The view of the old watermill from your table is gorgeous and the staff are incredibly friendly. This is an experience not to be missed!

A beautiful space with delicious food and attentive staff. We spent a couple of hours chatting and enjoying the atmosphere. My friend insisted to show me her happy, go to work place. I am so glad she did.

If good coffee is what you're after, then this is the place you want to visit. An incredible place with an array of baked goodies and treats that'll get you salivating! The staff are very helpful and are very intentional about ensuring your every need is taken care of and are always attentive. I recommend visiting!

What a wonderful restaurant! The food was excellent, and beautifully presented, the ambience relaxed, cool and visually appealing, and the service was very good. I like being left to enjoy the meal and chat without being disturbed and that's what I got. I even took some goodies home for my son. Highly recommended!

This gem of a restaurant in the ancient Josephine Mill hunkers down on the banks of the Liesbeeck River and is almost hidden beneath huge old trees. The service is good and the food better. The decor is delightfully refreshing. Try out LaCuccina's delicious buffet.

Stumbled upon this restaurant on my way to the brewery. What a lovely atmosphere, whether you sit outside facing the street or on the patio or the back amongst the trees. The staff was super friendly and they serve a delicious buffet during the day.

What an absolute pleasure!Due to it being such a popular restaurant set in such an iconic building I didn't expect to be able to make a reservation for Father's Day a week prior, especially not for 6 people, but as luck would have it they did have room.The food was fabulous, the service was impeccable and the atmosphere was exactly what we were hoping for...relaxed. They were also very accommodating to my wife who has a few allergies (gluten, dairy and sugar). They're very reasonably priced (again, considering location) and have some scrumptious looking goodies to take home (cheesecakes, tarts etc.).We'll definitely be going back to try their lunch menu. Oh, and if you have breakfast with bacon and eggs ask for some chilli tomato jam...
