Kappetijn Knives
I collect knives and have examples from all over the world. I first found these knives in Dullstroom and was so impressed with the workmanship and price that over the years I have bought several. I recently found their premises in Centurion and visited to buy an Okapi. However, I couldn't resist leaving without a new design of Damascus folder. The service was friendly and efficient and the price for the quality remains unbeatable for a handmade knife.

You wont need to buy a knife soon after you bought a Kappetijn, except if it is another Kappetijn. Bought mine at Huntex and is using it way too much as a general knife and need now to get one specific for hunting. Wife also uses it more than I expected, even though it is a bit heavy for her.

The craftsmanship and quality is outstanding. With so many beautiful knives to choose from, the super friendly and helpful service makes choosing the perfect blade so much easier. Owning a Damascus Steel knife is owning a piece of history and something which can be handed down from generation to generation. I guarantee that owning just one will never be enough :)

Their knives look great and are well priced. I wanted to buy one as a present. Unfortunately after making arrangements with them and driving through from the other side of Pretoria, they weren't there and weren't willing make a plan to get a knife to me.
