The food was so good that we had to go back, two days in a row. Staff was were helpful and friendly. The location is beautiful with lovely lawns for piknik and children playing. I loved the whole Spier Winery.

We enjoyed an absolutely amazing dinner here with our family. The food was incredible and the service was friendly and excellent. The kids loved playing in the gardens and the art fountain was a real hit. We loved our dinner so much we came back the next morning for breakfast with friends which was just as wonderful and delicious. You can expect to pay around R60-80 for a kids meal and between R120-150 for adults. I will definitely be back.

Great casual spot that has delicious food and fantastic value for money. The real ‘wow’ dishes are the sides — we had the roasted tomato salad and beetroot, and both were excellent. The lamb was tasty but a small portion, which makes the menu a great one for sharing multiple dishes. Recommend for lunch with friends or family (kid friendly)

What a delightful lunch.The meats were all tasty but the real stars were the side dishes.Our waiter recommended the butternut with the burnt butter and sage leaves and it was delicious. The roasted carrots with Labneh was also amazing.Meat wise the pork belly with pineapple was really tasty.

By far my favorite casual restaurant experience to date. We were greeted with friendly servers and fantastic service was sustained throughout. They explained the best way to order and what there recommendations were without pointing to the most expensive item. Their interest and intent felt genuine from the start.The food came quickly and freshly prepared. The portions are generous for the prices and I can guarantee you won’t leave with an empty stomach. Each dish and side is uniquely delicious and yet all fit so well together. All the meat was rich & tender while the sides were tasty and complimented the mains nicely.I can’t say enough good things about this place. I will come back in a heartbeat! Thank you, Vada’s!

We stayed at the Spier hotel and came over to Vadas for lunch. Overall a pretty good meal, even though we didn’t eat meat. The coal roasted beetroot was tasty, the sourdough was on point and we finished with some very typical Portuguese pastéis de nata (which were surprisingly good).

Was seriously impressed with Vada’s! The sharing concept is awesome and the food was incredible. My husband and I ordered the pulled lamb(amazing!) and chicken wings which were both packed with flavour and the side salads were a hit.Beautiful presentation to match. Top marks from us both. Awesome service too. Looking forward to going back.

We spent some quality time at Vadas celebrating our 38th year of marriage, privately. The Buffalo wings and Sexy salami pizza went down well.Will definitely visit this scenic, relaxed restaurant again.Being one with nature is what was intended for the human race from day one of the Creation. Feel the heartbeat of Nature and become envigorated.

I tried their smoked food twice and on both occasions the flavours were underwhelming. Good food but just not smokey enough, yet they call themselves a smokehouse.The pasteis de nata however is seriously good, especially if you manage to get it warm and fresh. This is possible the best pasteis de nata in Cape Town and it will keep me coming back here.Service was good, the location and ambiance exceptional. Well priced too.
