I visited this store when my BMW F800GS wouldn't start.. This team spent the time to locate the issue and charged me only for labour (a pipe had come loose in the fuel tank). I was very impressed because a number of other workshops would have taken this opportunity to overcharge me. Since that day I continue to visit this location for all my bike needs and am truly impressed every time I visit.I trust the staff/managers and they always go out of their way to assist me. I highly recommend visiting SMG Umhlanga to all BMW bike owners - you will be surprised about the significant affordability when dealing with ethical people :)

My partner and I decided to grab a coffee at the dealership, and to our surprise, they also serve breakfast. Our coffee date became a breakfast date and everything tasted amazing.In addition to the tasty breakfast, we decided to walk around and have a look at the cars. The sales people were very helpful in answering any questions we had and made us feel very welcome. I had the opportunity of starting one of my favourite cars. This experience alone would make me convert to BMW because I know I would be in good hands.Thank you for the amazing experience BMW Umhlanga, keep it up.

I unexpectedly bought a brand new BMW F850 GS on Saturday (20/12/2019) from SMG Umhlanga. The salesman, Shaheen and manager Phillip, both went to the extreme to get the bike ready for collection before Christmas. I was very surprised and very excited when Shaheen contacted me to collect the bike on Tuesday (24/12/2019) A big thumbs up to the dealership and professional staff! Thank you guys! And thank you for the much appreciated extras. They even borrowed me a trailer when the bike couldn't fit in the back of my Vito! Didn't expect it to be so big!

I bought a used GS from Motorrad in Umhlanga a few months ago. I was truly pleased with the sales service at the time, but when I had an issue with the bike on my first road trip 2 months later these guys really impressed me! Their after-sales service has been a dream and a pleasant surprise. I was stuck in Joburg and they made sure I got back on the road in no time. A big thank you to the Umhlanga Motorrad team. I highly recommend this dealership.
