Splash Pool

We thought investing in a pool would be a great idea, worst mistake of my life using Splash Pools, the builder and installer was amazing, however, the support which he got from Richard was absolutely pathetic, shouting and screaming at the poor man.... ..I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND SPLASH POOLS TO ANYBODY - IF YOU ARE LOOKING AT PUTTING A POOL IN THEN CONSIDER SHOPPING AROUND, UNFORTUNATELY THE WRONG PEOPLE IN YOUR BUSINESS HAVE A UNIQUE WAY OF RUINING A BUSINESS, REGARDLESS IF THEY ARE A MANAGER OR OWNER. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH SPLASH POOLS STAFF ESPECIALLY RICHARD WHO PROBABLY SPENT ABOUT AN HOUR AT THE SITE DURING THE 2,5 WEEKS IT TOOK FOR THEM TO INSTALL A SMALL 10000L. MAKES ME SICK... IF RICHARD IS READING THIS, DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT PUTTING YOUR FEET BACK ON MY PROPERTY EVER AGAIN.

Pool was installed in 2006. by 2015, pool no longer function as compaction" of ground under the pool shell

Installed a pool with these guys 4 years ago. We've used the pool, possibly 10 times in these 4 years. It has leaked since day 1, the installer decided that the best place to install solar panels on the floor of our balcony. A few months later, after the mozzies started breeding underneath, I asked him to remove it and put it on the roof. He insisted that I agreed to it, so it's my problem... As if I actually knew better than the guy who does it for a living. Anyway, we paid extra to move it to the roof, and they leak too. He installed a 'pool cover' for our toddler, which was another terrible idea in the list of stupidity incurred dealing with this guy. He drilled into the tiles so that the tarp can hook into the ground and when it rains, the tarp collects water in the middle. The weight of the water cracked the concrete.We've been told that the pump needs replacement and our suction unit has been this way since we first installed it, and Niel the installer said that it's our kreepy system thats faulty.Long story short, just stay away from these guys. They sell you a dream, but it quickly turns into a nightmare. We regret ever putting a pool in since we have had nothing but more and more costs and repairs,and still can't use the piece of junk.We apologize to all of Pretoria for all the mosquitoes that we're breeding in it right now.

Very, very poor service. Our pool started to make bubbels. They came and fixed it half, half. Pools looks worse than before. Owner is very arragent. DO NOT waste your money with this company. Dont know how they still exist.

Shocking backup service. They had to redo my coping at the steps but then sent me an invoice of R3,500which I refuse to pay. The pool has a small crack which they are ignoring.I have not been able to get the guarantee certificate from them.I am still waiting to hear from Richard.Pity I did not read the reviews before I accepted them.

Pathetic paving & solar heating plumbing has shown damage after being installed 18 months ago. Won't be recommending to anyone. Immediate paving onto pool is substandard.

Horrible, unprofessional service! Every disingenuous excuse not to assist post-installation yet Neil from the Pta East team is very happy to take your money. It has been an argument at practically every stage of installing my pool - I even had to hire my own jackhammer to assist his workers finish the hole! Currently my pool is leaking and the coping has come loose. I've only had the pool about a year. Neil came out (eventually) to 'fix' the leak charging me R1200 to re-silicon the jets - I doubt he even used a quarter of the bottle. Pool is still leaking but, again, every excuse is offered not to assist. Rather, I got a 50% refund for the silicon work done being told the other 50% would be retained as a call-out fee! Pathetic!! Based on my experience, as well as reading all the other reviews, it seems that Splash Pool, and Neil in particular, do not subscribe to the slogan, 'the customer comes first' whilst the quality of their work is lacking! What an unfortunate journey it's been!Review update:After reading my post, Neil decided to refund me the additional R600 for the unfixed leak he tended to. I appreciate the full refund however, the snarky message along with it is a pity.

Splash Pools refurbished our pool with a new fiberglass lining, however the pool had to be refibreglass 3 times due to fiberglass lifting. The company has now closed down, leaving us with a pool that is lifting again. 8 Year Guarantee down the drain. Consumer Protection Law and legal methods are the only way now

Very unhappy with the service received from Splash Pools (Richard in particular). It is now three months since the installation was started and am still having problems. Also still awaiting guarantee, electrical certificate of compliance and for rubble to be removed.

Worst decision ever to do business with spash pools, they are only interested in their money and then they don't care!!
